Sounds good but how about PB and Marshmellow fluff. Awsome!
Ah yes!!! You and I were on the same brain wave! Nothing like PB and Marshmellow Fluff. I loved that when I was growing up. Although PB and Bananas is a close second and then the classic PB&J is right there at third. When I dont have anything to put with the PB I can eat it plain and I am satisfied. :)
I have never tried Nutella though...people keep talking about how good it is. I think I would like to try another nut spread before tasting Nutella. Like Almondbutter, sunflower seed butter, etc. |

Original Post by sealion311: They still sell Flipz (chocolate, white chocolate and dark chocolate) in the grocery stores around here. I used to eat a whole bag of these in one sitting. I would work out at the gym for about an hour then come home and was justified in eating them because I had just done my workout. Little did I know how many calories they had per serving and how many servings there was to ONE bag! And the lifesavers. I just bought a roll of the butterscotch/butterrum at my local gas station yesterday. I love them so much! |

Original Post by stardust51: I just looked this cookie up and they were called "giggles" by nabisco! wow! I cannot believe you remembered these. I have a memory of these cookies from the first grade at lunch where my mom would pack me about 5 of them for a treat and everyone would beg me for one. One day a girl threatened to tell the teacher I was talking during lunch if I did not give her one. LOL! I think I ended up giving her one. Oh well I am easily manipulated I guess. :) Thanks for bringing these up....love them! |

"My grandmother is British so Christmas dinner was always a huge roast with roasted potatoes, etc. So from those meals... I really only miss yorkshire pudding. :( For Thanksgiving, I miss stuffing. "
AGREE!! My stepmother is British as well and I love it when she makes yorkshire pudding! I cannot get enough of the stuff. And then the potatoes she makes, the parsnips, the carrots, brussel sprouts....sure some of it sounds heathly but when you eat a ton it can add up! Oh and my dad's pumpkin pie and homemade stuffing. He uses about half a loaf of bread for that stuffing mixed with sausage, spices, celery, onions...it is so goooooood! :) I am getting so excited for the holidays now....but I know I have to be careful as well.

Oh my goodness! YESSSS!!! These are so good and I find myself eating them all the time after dinner for that little bit of sweetness that I crave. Or I bag some up as a snack to munch on at work. The person who thought of these is a genius! |

Thank you sauciedj & dmartineau1 for the advice! Right now I am doing 30 pounds weights on my legs about 2-3 times a week. I never go up in weights just do a lot of reps. I heard that adding weight is what causes the bulkyness. I used to have a lot of fat right behind my calf under my knee area. That has started to go away but my calves are still 15". I think it might be hereditary since my dad has such big ones. I think I will just try to stretch more and continue to run. It is working on getting rid of the fat at least. I would just love the lean look on my muscles. I did do pilates for awhile and that really leaned my arms and stomach out so maybe I can start trying that again.

I would like to join the club! :) I am 5'2 3/4" and currently sit at 126-130 depending on where and when I get weighed. People around my office do not believe that i weigh that much because they all think I look so tiny. I guess I carry it well as the saying goes. But I am not happy with it. I mean I feel good since my highest weight was 270 back in 2003 so to have come this far is a big accomplishment for me. Plus I am running in 5k which I never would have though was possible last year! I would like to be around 120. I work out about 5-6 times a week for about 60 minutes. My calorie intake is about 1200-1500 which I have been told I need to up since I work out so much and it might help me shed a few more pounds. I do weights maybe 2 times out of the week. Does anyone have any suggestions on toning? The weights seem to help my arms but my legs still look all bulky and huge! I got my big calves from my dad and they just do not seem to want to lean out! Good Luck to everyone! It has been fun reading your posts! |
