Thanks :) mommabeans. Its not the green tea diet, Ive just been drinking diet green tea that I bought from the grocery store. I didnt think I would like it when i bought it but figured id try it and its pretty good, better choice than diet coke. Ive heard diet drinks will actually cause you to be more hungry, not sure if its true but I think Im not as hungry drinking the diet green tea. After last weeks awesome weight, here I am stuck again, nothing this week so far. My body seems to hold onto weight for dear life so maybe Ill get another great loss in a week or 2. Hope for a good week next week everyone, and hope some of our MIA smurfs come back. Summer will come and go and I hope were all down from our high weight at the end of summer even if its just 5lbs down, were better off and going in the right direction. Good Luck again Blue team!! |

Anyone tryed the diet green tea yet? Its actually pretty good, I was surprised, noticed Im not eating as much when drinking it throughout the day, (not sure if its in my head or not) I think I am going to sneak into the green teams thread and just post some pictures of icecream and cakes, maybe that will help some-lol. guess we are stuck with the no-shows not weighing in, but the good news is, some of the other teams have no shows too. so maybe will equal out in percentage rates. With the holiday weekend over, I am getting back into the zone now, walking 3 miles (all my big butt can handle at the moment) everyday, and will be digging up flower beds and planting flowers this weekend so gonna stay busy and hopefully get my scale to budge this week. Good Luck to everyone this week. 5 more weeks left. Lets see what we can do :) |

Whew, i guess I am not the only one who blew it on memorial weekend, We can get back in this though, no more holidays until the 4th of July (and the end of this challenge) Good Luck to everyone!! Loudflower- I have a question about the people that are not weighing in. Are we stuck with them throughout the challenge (even the ones who have never weighed in?) My Smurfies are sinking due to the no shows.. lWe are carrying dead weight-lol. Just wondering.... |

Hi again everyone, Well I weighed in today for this week and I didnt gain those 2 mysterious pounds..lol. But I didnt lose either (this time I know why) So I am still at the exact same weight again. This week i plan to budge that scale some. Wish me luck! |

Hi Smurfs! I was reading your posts and you are all doing sooo good. I feel so bad, just know I am going to have a bad weigh in, memorial weekend ya know... didnt log anything so god knows!! also last week I didnt lose anything and got discouraged so went a little crazy, I promise to be good from here on out, walked 3 miles on my treadmill today so I can catch up and plan to make this a part of my daily routine, also TOM is due any day and when I checked my scale today I was actually up 2 lbs!! wah!! big reality check. Anyway- please bear with me smurfs, I had a weak week. But Im determined to make up 4 it. Keep doing good everyone!! your posts are motivating :) |

Hi Smurfs! thats cute! Just checking in to say hi to my team! Its getting nice out so lets set out to win this and look good at the end! I love these challenges and meeting others with the same goals and problems-lol. Looks like so far I am the oldest here, 35. Im married with 2 sons ages 12 and 9 and Im from Detroit Mich. I did the Bl challenge #9 and managed to lose 11lbs but then I slacked off on Bl#10 and didnt join, so here I am at my exact same ending weight off that challenge :(. 175. I would love to get down to 165 by the end of this one, and I got a treadmill today! yay! Im excited to start using it Monday when the kids are at school (otherwise they heckle me-haha lil jerks!) Im shooting for 1500 cals a day but have been ending up at 1700, so Im gonna work on taking that down this week too. Im a bigtime boredome eater, like today I was gonna go over my friends and hang out but then she wasnt home so what did I do? came home and a couple cookies(thats what threw me over my limit) So im gonna try to stay busy and lose some of this weight. Happy Mothers day to all the moms! We can do this! Food will not beat us!! Go blue!

Boo! bad week for me, I think I GAINED a pound, thats what that dang scale said today. I figured it was lying so I will double check tomorrow before i actually lock in the gain. TOM is coming anyday now so maybe??? Anyway, I also found some really scary site that doesnt have anything to do with this, but it is broadcasting our posts on the internet. Along with any other info we have, mortgages, stuff like that, it is MUCH more detailed than zabasearch or peoplefinder. Its kind of uncomfortable to know its there. Look up pipl.com and type in your name- see what Big Brother has on you too! You can also type your username (from here) and theres ALL of our POSTS!! Try your email address too- it will tell you lots of stuff about you. Im not liking it!! |

Thanks Papa, I will try to start the day with more Fiber and see how full I feel. Yes I absolutely think I also ate 4-5 thousand cals a day, not kidding! Im surprised I didnt get bigger than what I am, its the counting that makes me stop and think "no, I really dont want to have to add this in" lol I am also a grab and go type person, so this is why my pets like to follow me, I always have something good, they will actually wake from a nap when they see me cooking something to come watch me, I always have an audience-haha. Thats great we are the overall winners still! I noticed 5 of our team members are not weiging in (more than the other teams) we need to track their butts down! But for those of us that are still in it, GOOD JOB! |

Hi Teammates! Just checking in, I had a good week this week- down 3 lbs yay! Looks like Im still on my old track off losing in spurts. My "entourage" (my dog and 2 cats) are not liking how Im not always munching. I didnt realize how much I would snack here and there before having to add it in each day. See- I am the only one who gives in to the "entourages" begging, therefore they follow me everywhere, room to room, (they know who has the food). They have been so dissatitisfied as I leave the kitchen without treats for us all-lol. One of my cats has already given up, but my dog and other cat still follow hoping each time I will get us something-haha. Sometimes I wonder, WHY am I always hungry? and I guess Im not, its just bored eating bc its there. Also I think I need to start taking vitamins (as Oprah says-lol) They had an expert on saying that people eat to satisfy the nutrients they need, and if you are eating empty calories, like sugar, snack, bread etc, your body will keep feeling hungry bc it has not satisfying the nutrients it needs. people who take a multivitamin eat 30 percent less each day!! Also - the more protein you eat at breakfast the fuller you will feel all day. Good to know, so I figured Id pass it along. So I am buying some once a day vitamins today! I shouldve been taking one all along I know. Thanks Oprah! Have a great week everyone! Off to get my kids to school now :)

wow- I didnt realize I was last weeks top runner-yay. Not very good new s this week though :(. I am up 1 lb! I havent been logging my food as Ive been kind of busy, both kids have had the flu all week, i thought I was still doing good. But not logging my food is not good for me, Im sure I went over. I will be back on track this week though. |

GOOD JOB ORANGE TEAM Wow- we did good! yes papa, Im not really liking the taste of diet soda much, water is getting easier to drink. I have high blood pressure so need to stay away from sodium as much as possible. Tryed making some iced tea without sugar today- GROSS! I added a little sugar so Im loggin in to own up to it now. using my cals on drinks is so wasteful-lol, Id rather have food. So Ill stick with the water and occasional diet drink for now. I was kind of confused about the burn meter thing, dont know if Im lightly active, sedentary, kind of active? Guess its different for me on different days. I am going to start walking at the mall next week with my mom a few times a week ( I could walk and walk just window shopping). Its sooo cold here in Michigan and I dont have a treadmill so the mall it is. Anyway I found a link that explains this BMR thing is simple terms for me. It shows how much I would burn if I just slept all day and did nothing, so I guess as long as I eat less than that I should be on the right track. Wanted to pass along the link. Hi Dummie, I am clueless to how I lost 6lbs this week, so Im just chalking it up to water weight, I know my luck wont continue like this. I think Its true the bigger you are the more you lose so being on the lighter side you may have a slight disadvantage with the big #s like us right off. Hang in there, Im sure youll see results. I have been eating 1500-1600 cals per day, trying to add alot of fruit and fiber (fiber one bars are soo good). I think before starting this I was eating over 3000 cals per day (no kidding, alot of pop) I switched to water and diet pop this week and it helped so much. I want a wii fit so bad, let us know if its fun, it sure looks fun. Buggyhair-lol, maybe we can hit those chocalate golf balls right into papa's spokes of his cute little bike (sorry papa your on the green team, we need to slow you down some-heehee) I actually pawned some of the donettes off on my yougest son today. Its becoming a joke around my house, everytime someone says theyre hungry, I offer them some donettes-lol, but I havent caved yet-yay me. I watched Biggest loser tonight. OMG was anyone else crying at the end when the people had to go home? Thats a good show!

Hi Everyone. Just poppin in to say hi. I too have lost 6lbs this week, it was better yesterday-lol but water weight or whatever Im with you Jodifer Im taking it! I watched diet tribe too yesterday and it is so motivating, Its nice to have friends on CC too who know exactly what you are going through and have the same goals, as Im been kind of whiney all week too trying to adjust to staying under my 1500 cals. I have this bag of chocalate hostess donuts (that my mother-in-law gave me on Sunday when she got 2 for 1) and I have to pass by it sitting on top of my bread box several times a day. I have tryed to get my kids and husband to eat them but they always pass on it. I swear SOMEONE better eat them soon!! lol As Ive been known to eat half a bag of those things in the past at one sitting! I thought about hiding them but then they wouldnt know they were there and never eat them (Only I would know, even worse) It is sooo hard but Im being good and hope passing on the bad stuff gets easier. Maybe Ill pack them in my kids luches for tomorrow. That would actually be hilarious when they open their lunch and have 12 chocalate donuts each-lol Evil little things!! Good luck everyone :) |

Thanks for all the Birthday wishes, (especially papa from the green side, ur not mad at me for the little sabatoge comment on your thread?? All in good fun!!) I cant beleive this, Im with you Jodyjuniper, I snuck a peak this morning at the scale, and Im down 6.5lbs!! Probably water weight, or beginners luck but how cool is that? So dont worry dummie if you have a bad week, weve got you covered! We will all have weeks like that Im sure, I seem to lose weight in spurts myself. When I did this before, I went 3 weeks without a loss, then bam on the 4th week I would get like a 5 or 6lb loss, sometimes it just takes time to catch up to you I guess. Ill check in tomorrow with my actual #, then the scale goes up for a week again. Im the same way with the crazy weight fluctuation thing, I used to check alot and could be 3lbs different in each direction at different times of the day, so I put the scale up and just started weighing once a week at the same time, so much less stressful-lol
