I was 177.5 on Saturday, so down another 1.5 lbs.  I feel good and I'm starting to notice a little difference in how I look...or maybe my mind is just playing tricks on me. :)

CONGRATS to everyone for working hard last week!  And special congrats to kimaloo for hitting such a big milestone!  Keep up the good work!


As far as workouts go...I've been alternating between riding our recumbent bike for 30-40 minutes, swimming 2x/week for about 30-45 minutes and doing my workout dvds.  I have a bunch of them, but the only one I've been doing lately is my Slim in 6 video.  Lots of squats and lunges, push-ups, etc.  It's a good strength workout to balance with the cardio.

CW is 179.  Lost a pound.  I was hoping for two, but I'll take it.  I hope all of you had a good week.  It feels good to be working out again. :)

shill--congrats on the baby girl!!  What type of yoga did you do while pregnant?  I like yoga and I've been taking it for a few years...some at the gym and some with videos at home.  The video I have at home is pretty intense though and I'm not sure if I should be doing some of those poses while preggo.  :)

amanda1979--we're not sure if we want to find out the gender this time either.  We left it a surprise with our 1st and it was fun.  I'd like to do it again, but then I would also like to know.  I don't know...we'll have to talk about it.  My mom wants us to find out.  :)

I was feeling nauseous all last week but I started feeling better Friday afternoon.  I hope it doesn't come back.  I didn't work out as much as normal last week, but I'm gonna get back on track starting today.  My goal is to finish this program that I started in April.  I have one more month of it and then I'll have to figure out what kind of workouts to do for the rest of my pregnancy.

I can't believe the month is almost over! 

Is anyone able to run the challenge for June?  With being pregnant and everything else I have going on, I need to bow out on being in charge.  I'm really sorry.  Maybe spacedreamer will come back????

I'm still here to finish out May with anyone that's left.  Let's finish strong!!!!

I started the challenge with you guys but then went MIA when I found out two weeks ago that we're expecting #2.  I'd like to join back in though because I really want to gain a healthy amount with this pregnancy.  I've modified my goal a bit, but here are my stats.  Thanks!

Hi everyone!  Wanted to jump in and join you.  I'm a little over 6 weeks pregnant with #2.  I gained way too much weight last time so I'm really trying to continue working out and eating healthy with this pregnancy.  I know I'll need lots of support.  I had lost about 20 lbs, but was still about 20 overweight when I got pregnant.  I haven't gained any weight yet but I'm hungry all the time!!  I've just been trying to keep healthy snacks around me.  :)

I didn't post last week because we found out on Thursday that we're expecting baby #2!!! So, life kind of took over and I forgot to post.  That being said, I doubt I'll be losing any weight, but I'm still gonna post because my goal is not to gain as much as I did with the first and these challenges are motivating for me.  :)

lval...jump on in.  :)

sydney...the triathlon was lots of fun.  I would definitely like to do more of them.  It was tough, but fun and training for it was fun because I never got bored.  :)

HOWEVER...I just found out yesterday that I'm pregnant, so there won't be any more triathlons in the near future!!!  :)  I'm excited and scared, of course.  I really want to continue exercising this time because I don't want to gain 60 lbs like I did with my first. 

Anyway, keep up the good work everyone.

I just updated the points.  Sorry I've been MIA the last few days.  I did a triathlon yesterday, so with that and Mother's day, I was busy.  Happy Mother's Day to all the moms! 

rozie--I know your frustration.  My husband lost 30 lbs last year in like 3 months.  If only it were that easy for me.  :)  I hope you had a good weekend!!!

Keep pushing hard...there's still time to make this a great month!  :)

Keep up the good work peeps!  I have been having a rough time getting up the energy/making time to workout the last couple of days.  I need to get on track because I'm doing a triathlon on Sunday and I really don't feel like dying that day.  :)

fatttyj--it took me a while to figure out what I wanted to be when I was younger, so no worries.  I'm sure the Peace Corps will be an awesome experience for you. 

sydney--I'm gonna add the physical challenge you set for yourself to the list.  I think that's a good one.  I set little goals like that for myself too, so great job!

lorriec--that's good motivation to get the weight loss.  I wish you the best of luck and hope that you can get preggers soon!  :)

I'm gonna suggest the yard work/house work challenge from last month because we all know how hard it can be to get motivated for those things.

Great suggestions guys!  We have a good little group going for May! 

lorriec...you are my hero with over 2000 pts last month.  I'll try playing catch up to you all month, I'm sure.  :)

If anyone thinks their points are wrong at any point in the month, let me know. 

My motivation for losing weight is to be healthy, to wear cute clothes again and just to feel good about myself.  My husband also wants to have another baby and I told him we can't do that until I lose all the weight I want to lose.  :)

I would like to suggest the First Alarm challenge again because I only achieved it once last month.

I also suggest a Crunches challenge again.  25 reps gets you a point.  I really need to get consistent about my ab work.
