i have the saaame problem as you, thin little torso, then these legs which dont match my body at alll! its a real piss off. ive tried really really hard to loose it but doing mad cardio but then i just get skinnier because you loose up to down so i still look stick then with bigger legs. i was able to loose an inch or so. use an elliptical. and go backwards on them it really helps.

Just listen to your heart like the song says, love. Don't use your brain to say 'well it'd be a bad decision for my friends' or 'well when we first started dating he was a sweetheart.' this is the one time your heart knows way more then your brain. If your heart is sinking so is the realtionship.

Haha! I'm not crazy! I will pick up chips, look at calories or whatever and put them back. Look at candy, put it back. I love just looking at food. Once in a while I buy something and sneak it and look all shifty eyed. I think you're normal. I dream of the day I can control only eating 10 chips and not an entire bag!

Well 1800 is my estimated burn meter, when i don't even add anything. I couldn't of burned THAT many calories!

Well.. In Nova Scotia right now we're getting high winds.. and I have a large bag.. the wind knocked me too my butt.. which didn't help that i was with my friend that's always bitching about how skinny I am.

I don't usually get the comments, but all my friends are boys, so they just like giving me piggy backs then asking where I went.. or dress me up in their clothes, and just throw me around a lot. It's not really insulting.. I think I do the worse damage.. Haha.

Well, when I'm not sick like I am now (600 cals a day, forcefully), I usually eat about 1400. It can really range though.. sometimes it's 1000, and a week ago it was 1800..

I've gotten random ones at the gym, 'skinny b*tch' from what i'll call a 'jealous out of shape woman' One time this girl kept looking over at my burned calories while on the eliptical (sp?) and so I started going faster not knowing everyone on the treadmills behind us were watching, I ended up burning 450 calories in 20 minutes to her 300, and everyone cheered me on.

But my gym comments are usually negative because I'm usually skinnier.. My bad? lol.

Nova Scotia has just been rain, or humidity. This summer sucks! I have to go to college in September, it's stopping me from partying and going to the local buskers and walking around with friends. This is no fun!

5 and 7 is not too much, just work yourself up there gradually. Even if it's just .5 a day. You should only allow yourself to run about 3 - 5 times a week. 5 may be pushing it right now. Cardio should only be about every other day.

Don't hurt yourself, and especially watch your heart. If you are also dieting while doing this putting that much extra pressure on your body may be asking way too much of it. There's no rush to get there. Just take your time. Before you know it not only will you reach your goal but you'll have a new body to boot. : ).

Live in Halifax.. ONE OF THE HEALTHIEST! Which is odd.. since we're one of the cities with the highest crime rates.. and.. well every one I know smokes the.. well.. you know. I guess we pick our munchies well!

like star said, it boosts your metabolism (i wouldn't say do it all the time, ofcourse!). When I went through one of my many break ups, I sat down and ate atleast 3 chocolate bars a day for a few days, ate as much junk as my stomach could handle, I ate Big Macs and all the rest. I lost 3 pounds. It's awesome! Haha. But really, since your metabolism is already doing this, start drinking teas now to keep it there. It'll do wonders.

Um, my only pointer for this is to not do what i do. Do not replace the food with cigarettes. Haha. It's just as bad. Ahh.. What a life I lead.. But really do confront it.. Those situations will still be there if you ignore.. Just start carrying those Special K bars and little chip things on you.. It'll feel just as good, but won't have the guilt.

My mother would not be happy if she knew I was doing this. Though growing up I always seen her counting calories, and measuring and exercising like mad, she would not accept me trying to maintain or tone up my body. She'd definitely just run and say I was an anorexic.

I also wouldn't want some of my friends to find this place.. They would judge me for every word I said. I am the skinniest of all of my friends and I already get taunted, this would just add to their fuel.

It's a shame when you're afraid to be healthy, isn't it? When I just wanna make sure I'm on the right track and have to sneak around to do it? In a society where thin is in, and healthy foods are on the rise, I have to pretend I'm not.

It is actually quite a natural thing to crave carbs at night, regardless of what you eat. Carbs are what slow your body down, you likely don't realize you are tired, so your body starts craving the carbs so you'll feel more fatigued and full to sleep. Maybe try going to bed earlier?

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I do wewar some jeans and pants that go to the small of my waist, usually black, just because It appears to be an hourglass frame them, and I am small chested too, so I understand the dress things! But I do have the legs.. Haha.. But since we're short waisted, it's hard to get that toned looking stomach! It automatically makes you look like you have way too much there.. So frustrating!

subwaybusker, I feel that. I don't think it's even having a fat tummy, theres just nowheres for it to span out, so it gets stuck, let's invent spine implants or something to make us longer? haha.
