I actually did pretty well  for much of the  winter however i am now stuck and I need help.    I am not losing.   I am not gaining but  am not losing after losing about 22 lbs.  I would really like to lose again and I know that some exercise would do the trick.  You girls are CA girls but I am stuck in the house forthe winter.  We had another snow storn on Monday I am really sick of snow.  Your email message was a wake up call.  I will exercise tomorrow I will have a plan and I will log my food today and I will add you as a friend I need friends.  Thank you.  Lets do this

I had a terrible week  The weather is finally gettingbetter It should be in the upper thirties this week and no snow so maybe I will be more active and my food will be less active!!

I lost two lbs this week I am not so sure I will lose ten lbs this month,  I am really planning for thanksgiving.  I want to be in control and I will be in control.  Good luck to everyone and remember Thanksgiving is about the people not the food.

I am so happy slow and steady it goes.  I will continue to ride my bike outside I am sure it is helping me lose wieght.  I need a Knee replacement but the Dr will give me some injections Kind of lube job hold off the Knee job.  Lets hope  I lost 10 lbs this Month I can't wait to participate in the Nov. Challenge

I am 61 and retired and I miss my job terribly.  I loved being an elementary school principal.  You begin as a teacher get your masters in administration and you can work anywhere in the US.  I retired with 80 percent of a 100,000 dollar a year job.  I loved the children, the teachers and the parents!!.  Good luck in your quest to find the job you will love,.  Remember it is not magic but the power within you to love.

I am new to this group but I would be honored if you let me join in on the losing.  I to am a night time eater here is my suggestion

OK LETS MAKE A LIST! Copy and paste then add your suggestions.

1. keep a small jar of almonds handy that's a healthy snack.

2. put your before picture on the frig and a reminder why you are here.

3. Keep cold water with a little lemon made up and easy to grab.

4. When you feel a snack attack go curl your hair, take a shower anything to entertain yourself for 20-25 minutes if it's just a habit it will pass.

5. Drink green tea.

6. Clean a drawer or closet

7. Do some mending

8. Start a hobby

9.  Knit

10.  get on the computer!

 

my foods today coffee bowl of cheerios,  tuna sandwich with lettus and a banana.  Steak sandwich.  Low fat low sugar Icecream, 2 glasses of wine.  I need help because I am not losing weight.

Good Luck  I have been Celiac for 10 years and I am overweight!!It really doesn't seem fair but Here is what I do for my family.  Cooking gluten free can be very easy.  First of all I only use GF flour  There is not any flour in my house.  I do keep bread in the house for sandwiches for the kids and I agree READ THE LABLESwheat is hidden everywhere.  I often just substitute GF flour in most recipes.  I buy GF cake and cookie mixes,  Buy a Gluten free cookbook and I make mixes for such things as cream soups put them in zip lock bags and label them.  Good luck and If I can be of any help let me know

I am new to this forum and to CC  I am well over 50 actually I am 60  I am looking at a new job and I need to lose 100 lbs.  I need motivation and support just like you do.  I will do my first weigh in on Wednesday.  I do little exercise and consistently overeat.  It is like I don't care and in fact I care a lot.

Thank you for your responses I will definitely add you to my friends list and I will move to the Lets Geturdone forum.  I am starting a new job.  I am a retired Elementary Principal and I am now going to start working in a Parochial school.  I need to move around  lose weight and be the vibrant woman I know is hidden under all of this fat!!  I went to the beach today made myself put on a Bathing suit It worked I am not eating tonight.

Hello I am new to this forum or any forum for that matter.  I am 61 and I have 100 lbs to lose.  My knees hurt as well as my feet and I am full of arthritis.  I need some motivation.  I play golf two times a week but I am constantly overeating.  I think I am good add my foods and my food is over 2000 calories.  I am out of control!  I am looking for friends who are around my age with lots of weight to lose.  I need friends and I will be a faithful friend.
