"Don't give up" repeatedly! When I'm running, this really helps because each and every single time I say it, all the "OMG I'm sooo tired" and "I can't feel my legs" drown out :). |

- Be confident in what I wear when I go out. I hate having to go out to the mall or to school knowing I look bigger than most girls :(! - And on the topic of clothes...I'd finally like to have some nice clothes that actually look good on me. As of now my closet is stacked full of sweats and hoodie...and yet I still somehow manage to look big in them. - Wear a tank top and short shorts in public! |

Awesome post, Vee! Don't know if you'll believe this, but that was just the pick up I needed. With June fast approaching and assignments due and exams coming up...my eating habits have gone totally haywire. Normally I'd be able to stop eating when I felt even remotely full, but this past week I've gone back to my old ways of eating more even when I knew I was full. GAHHH...I'm so angry at myself for letting this go on for an entire week...but tomorrow is a new day. Just gotta focus and work my arse off |

Just one I'd have to say anything from iHop! To treat myself, I had breakfast there today and I thought I didn't do TOO bad...but then I came home and googled up some of the nutrition values and, well, let's just say my day was ruined |

I know how you feel! I just jog in my back alley--it's great because barely anybody sees me. But sometimes when I have too much homework or something, I'll opt to go running at night on the street in front of my house. It's a bit safer than the alley and, again, nobody can see you :). Good luck! |

When I was in elementary I was nearing obesity, and the thing that really kept me from crossing that line was my friends. They loved to go shopping, but of course, my size kept me from doing so. I longed to fit in and just go into any normal store (not the fat stores) and try on any clothes they had on the rack! So I remember the first step I took was joining my school's cross country team...and BOY did that help. From there I went to soccer, then to basketball, then to volleyball...and nowadays everybody knows me as one of the more athletic girls at school :D. PLUS I can go into any store now and try on anything I want! Just to get to this point took me nearly seven years, but I'm still far from done Oh yeah, I'm graduating next year and will be taking my graduation photos in a couple of months...so whenever I feel like skipping my runs, I just think of looking great in my dress! |
