I dont know much but I will tell you what I did/do. I stared off lifting weights in January, I started with 3 lbs free weights and I lift twice a week. I know its not much but now I am up to 8 lbs and and soon I will be at 10. My goal is 25lbs by then end of the year. week 1: 3lbs 3 sets of six reps, week 2: 3lbs 3 sets of 8 reps week 3: 3lbs 3 sets of 10 reps week 4: 3lbs 3 sets of 12 reps then I started over using 5 lbs and so on, there were time when I stayed longer at a rep number because I didn't feel ready to increase, but this is my overall general plan for reaching my goal. I have seen improvements in my stenght and muscle tone using this plan. |

I think the only reason people gain weight when they start the pill is because their body is adjusting to the hormones and you might eat more if you are an emotional eater like I am. Once you are used to them you should be fine. |

| Weight Loss | Anyone else having troubles curbing the candy cravings? | Apr 10 2008 22:09 (UTC) |

I love candy....sometimes I feel like i cant stop eating it. When this happens I brush my teeth. I don't like mixing my minty fresh mouth with the fruity flavours of candy. I find this helps me. |

Hello, My legs are a major sore point for me when I look in the mirror. Too help tone them I do leg lifts while laying on my side on the floor, I also do fire hydrants to work out my bum. too work out your inner thighs you can do leg lift but with your leg thats on the bottom so you use your inner thigh muscles to lift it off the ground. i find this move challenging. i got these moves from a fashion magzine, sometime they have good idea |

I do sit ups too in hopes of having stronger abs. One thing I was told was that you wont be able to see defined abs as long as you have a layer of fat covering them. so i work on keeping them toned and strong in order to have good posture and prevent back injury during other activities. it is also importane to work out your side abs by doing cross over sit ups. |

I think taebo is more like aerobics then judo because judo is usually done with a partner and you are using their weight as resistance. I think that would give you a better idea of the cal. burned |

from what I have learned in school about the body, there is no way warm water will prevent fats and oils from being digested in your body....I think this is a myth. |

Reducing your cal intake to low can be bad for your plan. You really shouldn't be eating less then 1300 cal per day. If you go to low your body will slow down your metabolism in order to retain the basic cal it needs to survive. I would suggest changing your workout to include some resistance training. This can help keep your metabolism from slowing down. It is also important to increase your bone density and prevent osteoporosis when you are older.
