Hello, I would love to join this support group!  I initially started at 216 and went down to 174.  But I serioulsy gained like 14 pounds of it back! HELP!  So I am just trying to get back into the groove.  If we could constantly communicate with each other and become accountability partners, that would be great! 

Age -20

Height- 5'3''

Weight: 188

Goal Weight: 130

Pounds to Lose:  58

Pounds Lost so far on Caloriecount: 28

Desired Date To Reach Goal: December 1st

Other Goals by Summer: 

-Lose 30 pounds by August 17th

-Be able to fit into size 12 (or smaller) by the summer

-Be able to run 5 miles straight (I can do 2.5 right now)

I read the book and I absolutely loved it!  But the fasting thing, I don't think it's worth it.  You detox your body through consistent healthy eating habits and not a 5 day detox fasting plan.  I have found that people who do fast tend to overeat after the fast, which does not help.  I saw this happen to me, friends and family.  The book is right about one main thing.  Stay away from animal products as much as you can.  I am a vegetarian, but not a Vegan.  The days that I stayed away from dairy and eggs were the days I felt physically better and energized.  These were also the times when I lost the most weight.  It is ok to eat them once in a while, but not all the time.  What I found fun to do, was go to vegan and vegetarian every other day.  I would eat dairy and eggs on my vegetarian days, but limit myself to very little.  Just enough to satisfy the taste buds.  I lost a lot of weight doing this.  Anyway, good luck and I hope this helped.

1.  The was I raised.  My mother is the one that taught me about eating and coming from a family that eats uncontrollably does not help.

2.  Eating when I am bored.  It is a means of doing something.  

3.  Genetics-  I have the type of body that gains weight extremely fast.  If I eat badly for a week, I can gain like 1.5 pounds.  

4.  People around you.  I live with other girls who are big and eat the same heavy stuff...

5.  I think I have an addiction to food.  I think about it a lot

Girls could be bitches,  I now for a fact a lot of them get jealous when other girls lose weight.  Keep up the great work! Congrats!
