Hi i am definitely joining this group.

 

I am 5'7" and 135 pounds:

GW1: 125 lbs

GW2: 120 lbs... by August by losing at least 1.5-2 pounds per week.

OMG desert_rose I am 5'7" and 135 Pounds. I cannot seem to get pass 130 pounds for the past year no matter how hard I try. I need to know what to do fast so I may get out of this mode of fluctuation.

ChattyNoel: We are sailing in the same boat. I kept saying ok tomorrow I will continue with my diet and everytime I mess up I would just go way off tangent because I already messed up (I am an all or nothing person and so one little mistake will just escalate).

So I just finally had to be hard with myself and decide that if I want to remain fat and miserable then I will continue on the path that I was heading or I could force myself to do the right thing and diet and exercise to get the weight off. It really pays off. But, getting the motivation (especially when you have gained weight) is very miserable and it makes you feel like you want to quit, but if you quit it only would get worst.

Also, I kept on eating late at nights and overeating because I love to overeat. But, that is something I also changed.

Also do not keep foods in your house that you should not be eating because you only will eat what is available. This will prevent you from reaching for those snacks. I know when you live with people it is hard to reach your goals especially when they are eating foods that you love but tell yourself you can't have but having those foods around does not help.


I hope you reach back to your LW very soon and on your way to reaching your final goal!

Ok so I gained like 3 pounds in the last two weeks (from 135lbs). I was so depressed over it. I mean I just made bad food choices, but now I have lost it all plus 2 more pounds down so I am 133lbs. I need to lose 3 more pounds to get to 130lbs (my next goal) soon.

I am so self-sabotaging, as soon as I start meeting my weight loss goals its like I take that as an intivation to totally go off my diet. Well, now that I know that about myself, it won't be happening again.

So I will be drinking lots of water, exercising and eating healthy. Bye.

So ok I am definitely plateuing and don't know what to do to get out of it. I have been maintaining about 133-135 for the past month or so and it is just so frustrating. 

I dont want to change my diet because it is a good one. What should I do?

Hey guys today is Monday morning and I have been maintaining 135lbs for the past month. I am not too happy about this because I should have atleast reached my 3rd goal weight of 125lbs by now. But I will be going back to my strict workout plan today and start to losing approximately 2lbs per week again. 

My weekly goals were what was keeping me on track so I am going back to my tactical plans instead of looking at the overall picture, where I most times get lost. Anyway enough of the rambling.

I hope everyone is doing well and sticking to their plans.

Ok I am getting real frustrated. I need to step my game up as I  have been maintaining around 134-135 for the past 3 weeks now.

I think part of the reason why I am not doing too well is because my husband keeps not being supportive on my health and weight loss journey. He keeps telling me to eat meat and gain 30pounds. Also, he keeps calling me skinny, I dont like this because I am not skinny. I think he is doing this to me because he realize that I am becoming more attractive and more confident and so he is threatened by the amount of attention I am getting.

My relationship is stressing me out and sabotaging my progress as I feel like I have to choose between one or the other. What should I do?

Hey everyone, Its Sept 1 and though I ate crap for the past 2 weeks and have not been to the gym still, I am still managing to maintain my 134lbs. I am so happy because I deliberately took 1 week off from the gym hoping it wouldn't change my weight and it didn't so I am glad. I will be starting back my gym routine today to resume my weight loss. My 2nd goal that I have reached my first goal is to get down to 125lbs. Which, is 9lbs away. Shouldn't be too hard I hope.

I am so happy to see how everyone has done. Keep up the good work and for those who are not so happy, don't worry just don't beat yourself up.

I, on the other hand, am maintaining my 134lbs for the past 2 weeks. I am not totally unhappy because at least i am not gaining and I know what I need to do to start losing again so I am truly grateful.

I can't wait to see more updates.

Hello Chatty, well it is Tuesday and I bought a scale today. I did not get a chance to weigh in at the gym since last week. But, according to my new scale I am 134pounds from 138 last week (a 4 pounds lost). I am not too enthusiastic about that though because I did not weigh in on the scale I am use to so I am wondering if there is some margin of error on this scale as I still feel fat. But, I will see when I go to the gym tomorrow and weigh in there as I usually do and I will then see if this scale is worth anything. Also I have been totally going off my diet for the last couple of day so that is one more reason for not believing this new scale.

Hope all you guys are doing well and dont be like me... don't get frustrated and give up when you are not getting the results you want, you will just sabotage your progress. Keep going and be strong, because together we can do it.

So ok this is Tuesday I did not get to weigh in yesterday because my mom was in town and I just couldn't. I ended up eating a whole of of junk (i.e. vegan pizza), but despite the fact the I did not exceed my caloric intake for the day I weighed 138 this morning when I weighed at the gym.

I know the last time I posted I said I was 138 pounds BUT I went to the gym on saturday and weighed myself out of curiousity . I was 137 pounds and was very happy to have lost 1 pound and expected to have lost 1 more pound over the weekend, but instead I gained. I am so mad!!! I feel like I wasted one weeks gym money by not losing.

I am taking vengeance this week, I will avenge my weight gain by burning 2000 calories every day at the gym this week until Monday. I am sure I can make up for the 1 pound weight gain.

My goal for this week:

Eat a lot

Drink lots of water

and burn atleast 2000 calories a day.

Today I burnt 2000 calories to lose 3 pounds by Monday (i.e. 10,500 calorie deficit). I will however settle for 2 pounds lost this coming Monday but no less.

I hope that everyone is not a sorry gainer like I am. I hope you guys are doing good. I think I need to learn how to eat around people that knew me before I started on this journey and I need to come to terms with the fact that it does not matter what they think :)

Hello Group, today is Monday (Weigh In Day) and I am happy to report that I am down 2 pounds from 140, making me (Drum Roll Please) 138pounds. Finally I am in the 130's I am so happy for that.

I realize that the secret to this weight loss thing (for me at least) is to keep your major goal at the back of your mind without dwelling on it too much. But, at the same time make tactical weekly goals that you can realistically stick to, that way you don't get too frustrated in looking the the big picture.

Ok so I hope that everyone is doing great!!!

Hi Guys well I went to the gym on Saturday and though I did not go to the gym for couple days and was eating like a mad person, I manage to lose 2 pounds. Yay me. So I will be starting back the gym today officially though I am not 100% healthy yet, but I don't care anyway. Hope you are all doing great bye.

HI all the last couple of day shave been really bad for me. I have not been able to go to the gym because I have a cold soar. I however, feel like I have lost some weight but I do need to feel well enough so I can weigh in on monday.

I hope everyone else is doing ok, eating up their raw fruits and vegetables, drinking lots of pure water and/or green tea and exercising for even 10 minutes a day.

I can't wait to see how everyone progresses on Monday.

Hey Monaday works good as a weigh in date for me as well. I weighed yesterday and I am 142lbs.

I am a vegan for quite some time now, but had decided a long time ago that I wanted to do a 100 day raw food challenge starting July 14, 2008. That being yesterday. That brings me to the challenge I will face this week. Which is that I have to get use to being on a raw food vegan diet and learning / trying new recipes. This will be tough as I love my processed Carbs :(

But, lets keep our heads high and press on.

Your schedule really seems tough though. I hope you will be able to get that exercise in even if for 30 minutes a day.

I found kickboxing to be totally effective. I hope to get some exercise DVD's real soon.

Hi chattynoel I would love to be apart of your group. I would definitely love to lose 15 pounds by March. I am currently 5'6.5" and 142.3lbs.

Also I am a vegan, have been for the past 2 months and it has been going great. Also, I have replaced my sugary juice with water.
