If you are looking to to replace fat with muscle (and not really "lose weight") you should have a very small defecate if any at all. You should be eating a lot of protein and lifting weights (which you said you are doing). A book that really helped me was The New Rules of Weight Lifting For Women. AMAZING. You will learn about what your body needs to gain muscle and lose fat. You will learn that you can't tone muscle if you don't have muscle. Sounds silly but so many women try and tone tone tone. When you really need to building muscle first. Good Luck! |

apples, baby carrots, celery, bueberries, any other fruit or veggie that doesn't need to be cold. Also i spend a few cents more and buy the 100 calorie size baggies for my snack. It's lind of a mind trick. You don't see a half full baggies and thing wow i want more. Plus they are convient or your bag/purse. |

I love to make sugar free Jello with fresh or frozen fruit in it. I then put a little bit of Cool Whip Free on top. I always make in in individual size serving dishes so I won't eat the entire thing at once. |

Hi Mary, I am also 5'3 and 127 lbs. I find that it is extremely difficult to loose weight. I have lost a total of 60 lbs. I find now at this weight the best thing is to tone your body and change it through weight lifting not weight loss. But I do share in your frustration of wanting to loose the last couple pounds. I would love to be 120 lbs. But I think that where I am is where I am going to stay. Don't give up, aim for a better lifestyle not weight loss. Good food and good workouts!

I am so glad that you posted your success. I am 27 yrs old 5'3 and 127 pounds. I have been trying to lose 7 pounds now for a while. It was great to read your story since our stats are so similar. Congrats on the weight loss you look great! I started my weight loss journey at 185 lbs and that was 10 years ago. |

I ate soooo much the other night I was curled up in a ball on the couch. I ate a rib dinner at Long Horn Steak house, Then I went home and had a sleeve of Girl Scout cookies. My stomach hurt so bad i couldn't stand it. And like you i wasn't even hungry. I just went to bed early and was extra good the next day and did 20 extra minutes of cardio. It sucks at the moment but later you'll realize it was no big deal. |

Thanks everyone! I really just needed to vent and hear some encouraging words. Sometimes i do tend to get wrapped up in the caloreis and counting and weighing. I thin ki just needed to step back and re-evaluate the situation. |

my all time fave "guilty" snack is sugarfree jello with fruit mixed in and cool whip free. You feel like you are eating the biggest most guilty snack ever and if you prtion it oit its like 55 calories for a serving. |

Well i'm 5'2 128 lbs and a 4 my sister is 5'5 138lbs and she wears a 4 also. Now here comes the big difference in us I wear a 32D and she wears a 32FF/G. So I would say yes your boobs can make a difference. And your boobs are big but not huge, my sister has huge boobs, lol! |

I am in the same situation. 5'3 128 lbs. I would like to 118-120 lbs by january. I don't really need to lose the weight but I would feel much better. B - 1/2 serving frosted mini wheats w/ 1% milk 1 apple with 2T pb S - whole wheat english muffin with a little butter and 14 oz O.J, Thats all so far today mist likely a late lunch for me. |

Make sure you eat a good balanced breakfast with a lot of protein and keep water with you. Its kind of the same as never going food shopping on an empty belly. |

This might sound stupid or like it might not work but get some gum or brush your teeth. It is proven and it helps me, the minty flavor will help (note i did not say stop) your urge to snack. Hope it helps! |

I am so in as well. I also have just 10 more lbs to lose and it just won't budge. A little about me I'm a paralegal so i sit most of the day. I try to do cardio at lunch 3 times a week. I also go the the gym 4 time a week and do cardio and lift. thias is my first group and I hope it helps becoause nothing else seems to work. Age: 26 Height: 5'3 CW: 128 GW: 118
