Gained a pound this week, but that's no surprise.  I was out of town staying with friends and they had no good food.  I tried to eat less, but I still thought I'd gain.  One pound isn't bad, I can make it up this week!

Yeah, me too! Sticking to my diet but no workout! I bet if we add that to the diet we would lose so much more weight and inches!!!! So we need to get back on it! Yeah the past few days, I've been wanting cookies! My fiance keeps that stuff in the house, but since I've been dieting I've been able to just say no! And found my will power is better than I thought but the past few days... I have had at least 3 small chocolate chip cookies a day :-(.

Don't beat yourself up over it! We all hit those moments! Just gotta get through them and remember what your goal is and why you are doing it! Plus if you have pretty decent will power I say TREAT YOURSELF. I usually do on Saturdays, then right back to it on Sunday! That way I don't always feel like I'm missing out. Then during the week when I do get a craving... I know that I can wait until Saturday to treat myself :-) And I'm still losing... 2-3 lbs a week consistently doing that. So TREAT yourself! If you have gone all week doing great you deserve it!

I tried on some jeans that I haven't been able to get into in forever today... and they fit!!!!!!! Yay! You have been doing well so keep it up. Smile

I too have been sticking to my diet but not working out.  Working out has always been a struggle for me.  I'm of the mindset now that I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing....but when I hit a plateau, that means I need to start working out more!  And I won't have any more excuses at that point because I'm committed to losing this weight.

 

I started out a size 22 and I'm now into an 18.  It's such an amazing feeling.  I long to be able to shop in the "regular" departments.  I really want to get out of plus sizes, shopping will be so much easier then!  Keep up the good work girls, you've really been an inspiration to me to stick with it.  *hug*

Down two this week!  Pretty good, that was with absolutely no exercise and I weighed in on Wednesday last week because of my scale problems.  I'm hoping to get out and exercise more this week to drop a little extra.  Good job so far everyone.

what day is weigh in day?

I was wondering what kind of calorie intake you all follow? I was thinking about following the biggest loser plan of 7 x body weight. That would set me at 1575.

I'm actually shooting for right around 1200 per day.  Here is why.  I know my counts aren't totally accurate, so I assume I'm around 200 calories or so a day off.  So since my goal is around 1500 a day, counting to around 1200 works.  I know I'm getting a bit more than that, but it keeps me from getting to high.  Plus, I'm eating lots of food and I'm not hungry.  I'm just eating healthier.  Lots of fresh fruit and veggies.  And to answer your question, Tuesday is weigh in day.

Good job everyone!!! You guys all did great so far!!!! There's a possiblity you could have lost 11 lbs in one week with really god eating and extensive excercise like the biggest loser people... but it's not common... so dont be discouraged if next week you only lost 1-3 lbs that's more common....

 

I think my scale has gone insane. It just gave me another different weight. I think I'm going to buy a new one today.  Don't count me this week.  I'm going to weigh tomorrow morning and get my new start weight and just go from that.

I don't know how accurate that is.  I weighed myself on April first and it was 237, but it was later in the day.  There can't be any way that I lost that much weight!  Anyway, I took note of the time I weighed in today and will weigh at the same time next week.
