I went to the doctor & weighed in at 139.4!!!! Finally under the 140 mark for the first time in a looooooong time! God, I hope this lasts =) I'll have to do my best this weekend & work out like a wild woman. This has really given me soooo much motivation because it's been a slow progress, but it's been almost two months & 6.6 lbs!! Hooray for me =) I wish I could afford a gym membership & personal trainer!! Maybe that'll be my reward to myself when I hit the lower 130's!! |

Hello ladies!! I weigh in after work, so I'll post results tomorrow. I did an OK job on the long weekend....it was hard though.....I went to a wedding which the menu wasn't diet friendly....then we did lots of cooking out on our new grill. Has anyone read the book Marley & Me? It's about a destructive yellow lab & we have the EXACT same dog...we rescued it from the shelter in March & she's a year & a half & the book just has me cracking up. My mom bought me a patio set for Mothers Day & we got it put up Monday & Tuesday morning, my awesome dog LuLu destroyed one of the chairs! How many other people do you know that have to put their patio set AND grill in their garage when they're done with it?? Hilarious. Thank God I have some patience!! Good luck on weigh ins.....I hope I don't gain on my vacation either!! It's coming quick...I haven't seen the results I was hoping for but I'll take the 5 lbs!! Maybe 2 more will follow by June 6th =) Have a great day!! |

Good Morning Ladies, I lost another pound AND it's TTOM for me. Don't ask how that happened, but I'll take it. Hopefully, I'll log many miles on the bike path this loooong weekend. I won't be on the computer AT ALL this weekend, so I hope I behave at the wedding I have to go to & the bar-b-que at my moms on Monday.....Here's my numbers & hope you all have a fabulous weekend!! Hello all!! I showed some restraint this weekend for ONCE in my life =) Pretty proud of that...no exercise though...I pulled a muscle in my back and have been hurting for a few days. I'm going to the chiropracter this afternoon & then directly for a walk afterward!! (well, if the doc okays that anyway). I'll weigh in tomorrow....have a great day!! |

After two weeks of ignoring the scale...I finally weighed yesterday. I was 144.something and now I'm 142.1....not much, but I'm going to get there!! By the end of the summer I want to be 130!! TTOM is coming next week so I hope to not give into my cravings of Peanut butter out of the jar & lime tostitos & salsa....those are my weaknesses....also Pizza...I never order it, but if my b/f does, you better believe I can't smell it and not eat it!! I hope to work out all weekend....even it's just walking around the neighborhood...I've also been lifting my little armweights while watching my favorite shows.....next thing you know it's been a half hour....if I'm watching another show after that, I'll do stomach crunches or lunges & squats....not anything big....and it does get a lil laughter from the family, but every little bit counts, right?? LOL. Have a lovely low calorie, high energy weekend all!!! |

Hello everyone!! I fell off the face of the Earth for awhile....just been really busy with the kids & sports schedules...it's been hectic....baseball 4 x's a week, taking my niece to cheerleading practices...can you believe @ 8 years old, they have to TRY out? Poor lil thing...she'll be crushed if she doesn't make it. Anyhow...I'll be weighing in tonight & will report the hideous (or wonderful) numbers tomorrow. I'm not anticipating much, but I'm hoping it's something. I've been walking 3 miles w/ my friend & then walking on my lunch breaks....not much, but better than not moving...still calorie counting as well....weekdays are sooooo much easier than weekends!!! I do AWESOME during the week, but indulge too much on the weekends.....my vacation is in 3 weeks and I may just have to buy the one piece swimsuit for the first time in FOREVER. I'm still committed and am taking it day by day...the encouragment on her is phenomenal & I appreciate it! Have a great day all! |

I started CC around 4/8 at 146.8lbs, Saturday the 26th, I saw 141.2 on the scale & I was really proud , but I've been slacking and allowing too many reward snacks & walking less due to rain in my area, so I'm back up to 144.2. Last night, I walked about 2.5 miles and I'm back at it again!! I'm not going to let this minor setback rule my day or worsen my mood...I know there's work to be done & I know I can cut back more or work out more to even things out a bit!! Hopefully, next week, I'll have some good news to report! To all of you who have lost....Congrats, Keep it Up & even the slightest numbers are a HUGE success =) To those of you in my shoes...don't give up....we'll have our day too =) Have a great week everyone!! |

I bring 2 pieces of fruit to work for breakfast & maybe a box of instant oatmeal if I'm extra hungry, & then pack a spinach salad w/ tomato & strawberry or grapes & maybe a lil grilled chix then I also have Fiber One bars (12g of fiber each), then I usually am really full & will only eat a small dinner & I usually have plenty of calories left to spare for a splurge on dinner. |

I'm in!! I started April 8th on my goal to change the way I eat for good, not just for the season. So far, I'm down from 146.8 to 141.2. I'm not working out much...maybe some arm weights while I watch TV...LOL & walking the dog & on my breaks at work, but if I kick that up a notch on top of eating my fruits, veggies & fiber, I know I can lose more!! I'll post my next weigh in next week. I just weighed on Saturday =) Good luck everyone & remember, losing weight & keeping it off is our goal!! |

Hi Melness... You'll get there!! Don't stress about it....(like I should talk). My boyfriend says the same things....that I'm fine the way I am, but isn't it funny how us women are about our bodies?? Sometimes I feel crazy because I OBSESS about what I'm eating, but other times, I know that it's a lifestyle change that needs to occur not just a crash diet. I need to really start eating fruits/veggies for the long term not just because I'm going to Myrtle Beach in June and want to look as best I can. I need to really start believing that I'm fine the way I am and not seek happiness in the numbers on the scale. I don't want the numbers on the scale to determine whether I'm feeling good about myself or whether or not I'm having a "good" day, you know? Best of luck to you....keep it up!! Hope to see us both in the 130's soon =)

I eat Kashi Chewy Trail Mix bars...they are delish and high in fiber. Also, 25 almonds is one serving & they fill me up as well as fruit for snacking. |

I think I'm on a different weighing day then most of you....I only weigh on Mondays or Tuesdays then don't bother the rest of the week. I had a bad weekend of eating at a steakhouse, having THREE cocktails there & then going out for ice cream w/ the kids Sunday. I was completely expecting to GAIN especially w/ it being my TOM. But to the contrary, I lost another lb. I'm now at 142.5 and can taste the 130's so bad!!!! I know if I step up the exercising I could lose more...I'm just walking for 25 mins on lunch & walking the dog for 30 mins after work. I also lift my arm weights during my favorite shows...I get about an hour of TV time a day. The spinach salads are doing their job!! Amen. Congrats to all of you for your own triumphs =) |

Sunday April 6th, I had an epiphany...my self esteem issues are directly correlated to what I eat & how it makes me feel. I weighed myself that Sunday and was 146.8. I'm 5'2" and this is almost as heavy as I was when I was pregnant NINE years ago!! After many tears were shed from disbelieft at the scale, I've been eating so much better than I have in YEARS. Spinach, lettuce, tomato, strawberry salads for lunch, Kashi Bars for snacks, fruit & maybe whole wheat toast for breakfast...my fiber intake has gone from 11grams a day to between 25-32 for the last few days. After 8 days of seriously dieting, no red meat, water, no soda, fruits & veggies and maybe a lil chicken or salmon for dinners....I'm down to 143.4. I do allow myself a cheat snack every day, but I do pay attention to the portion size of chips/salsa or whatever the cheat may be. If it's Oreos....only allow yourself the serving size. I'm very excited & hope that by June, I've lost at least 10lbs. |
