hi im roughly the same weight as you although im a woman lol im currently at 308 weighing yourself everyday as tempting as it may be isnt very accurate as sometimes your body just retains water for no reason so it can be down 2 one day and up three the next if you really need to weigh in regularly (i do sometimes myself ) id stick to every other day then its more likely to be a decant reading and its also best to weigh at the same time of day also and this is just what i have found from experience if i weigh every other day and i get 2 of the same reading in a row (so like stayed the same weight for about a week) then i have a meal of my choice without counting and then lo and behold the pounds start to drop again hope you find something that works !:D |

congrats to everyone on weigh ins :D maryjmoon the same thing happened to me i lost 14lbs in the first week probably most of it water and then the scales went up a pound or two for the next week then it started going down again it may just be the shock to your system i no mine is in shock still i ve spent years stuffing my face and now its wondering where all the food is LMAO |

i just wanted to say dont give up ive done the same myself its much easier to change what you eat than the way you eat it could have been much worse you could have gone on a bad food feast ! i think the only way to really change is to keep going ! :D sarah |

hey you should never drop below 1200 calories you may have just hit what most people call a plateau where your body gets used to the amount of calories you have been eating and can maintain itself on less you could try upping your calorie intake for a couple of days but still eating healthy or you could keep on and plough through it usually it takes a week or two to start off the loss again either way you should definately stay above 1200 and ignore your boyfriend ! |

im also a newbie and was suprised to find there was support for this ive been bingeing since i was about 14 it was the only thing that cheered me up but the consequences are obvious ive been logging for about a week and eating healthilly for 2 so not that long and in that time i havent had a binge but its really hard when im upset especially all i can think of is eating as much as i can cram in today is day 14 of no bingeing i really dont want to loose my motivation im 28 and want to get my life back ! :D |
