i've learned to let myself have something every once in a while otherwise i will binge on something else later. so its not bad if you have a piece of cake every now and then. but sometimes if i think i went over my cals for the day i'll eat a "healthier" substitution like skinny cow ice cream or an apple. |

maybe allow yourself to have something sweet every once in a while so it gets rid of your craving for something sweet. i find that if i deny myself something i tend to overindulge later on something else (like 5 apples for instance) |

june 2010 bride here! wouldn't mind if i lost a few pounds, but i'm mostly looking to maintain and not gain weight. i always tend to gain weight around the holidays and winter months unfortunately! congrats to everyone! |

my favorites have always been the sugary ones.. growing up i used to eat them all the time, my favorite was frankenberry (now they only make it during halloween time) but other favorites were cinnamon toast crunch, and cocoa puffs. Now i only eat kashi go lean. |

Original Post by agruskin: Its an awesome DVD... its 40 minutes but you can break it up by what circuit you want to do (ex, chest & abs, biceps, etc). I usually do the first few circuits on Saturday and the last few circuits on Sunday to break it up. |

if i have a taste of something it becomes dangerous and i'll splurge on it.... for instance this past friday we had cake in my office for someone's birthday. i said no at first... but while we were cleaning up i was covering what was left of the cake and got some frosting on my finger and so i licked it... and it was downhill from there! so yeah after 2 pieces of cake and a crappy eating weekend i am now up 2 lbs this morning! lol oh well i'll just hope to get back on track this week. |

1. how do you prepare your penne? don't eat pasta, but with tomato sauce 2. how do you like your ravioli? what filling? what sauce? regular cheese with tomato sauce 3. what's your favorite way to prepare lasagna? traditional? veggies? i think this is true that some people were made to be certain sizes. i'm 5'4" and my weight is most "comfortable" 127 - 130 lbs (i am around a size 6 or 8 depending on brand). I flucutate around there (if i have had a big eating weekend then more at 130). I was 116 at one point when i restricted and even though on paper it didn't look too bad, i used to get comments all the time that i looked too skinny. I also had to struggle to stay that way (to the point where i had an ED mentality). I now find that i can be flexible with what i eat and stay around the same weight and it is still healthy for my height. I think freedom from restricting is the best thing! So yeah i do think that certain bodies were made to be a certain way. |

anorexia is a mental disease... When i had an ED i was socially withdrawn from friends and family because i never wanted to go out anywhere for fear of having to eat something out of my "norm". at my thinnest i still felt fat. it is a sickness. if you are thin but eat and think normally about food and your body (despite having bony hands) then chances are you do not have anorexia. |

yes. there is this annoying fat guy that works in the office next to mine. always looking for food or snacks that people may have brought into the office. he will pop his head in to chat and its annoying when i am super busy. i don't make eye contact when he walks by so now he goes and bothers my co workers down the hall. but when they're not available he'll come talk to me lol... plus he steals my cans of soda out of the fridge that i bring w/ me for lunch. grrr. |
