You could ask them to take it down...if it is facebook you are talking about you can untag yourself by going to the picture and clicking on untag. This way it won't show when people look at your pics :-)

Or you could just embrace it. You've lost a lot of weight! Be proud of that!!

I lost 70 pounds just by making a few healthier choices and going to the gym 5x a week (mix of  30 -40 min cardio & 20 min of weights). It came off pretty fast and easy. I think it took 7-8 months. I wasn't calorie counting at the time and did not change my awful fast food eating habits that much either haha. Then I slacked off for a year (didn't get any back) and am at it again but this time eating a lot healthier and counting calories!

Good luck! It seems like a lot and a lot of hard work but you can do it. If I can anyone can!

Patience =) When I first started the same thing happened and I almost gave up. Then 2 months later people were like HOLY CRAP you've lost so much weight! And I was like umm not really (cause I hadn't) Then a month after that the scale starting diving like crazy and I lost 55 pounds in 5 months.

How much have you lost?  70 pounds

Is this the 1st time or a repeat performance? On going process

Are you finished? No way! I want to get down to 160

How long did it take? 6 months for the first 55. Then I just slacked off and didn't do much in the way of healthy eating but still went to the gym once a week and managed to drop 15 over the next year.

How long have you kept it off?  Year and a half with no work really!

What approach did you use? First 6 months stopped drinking pop (soda haha) and made healthier choices (not hardcore though and I did not count calories) after 6 months I went back to my bad habits of eating and got bored of the gym.

But now I've found this site and am determined to get down to 150 or 160!! YAY!!!!

2 weeks in and no change though =(

4 months the first 50 then 25 over 2 years (eating whatever I want and going to the gym every now and then)  Now I'm trying to get back into the swing of things and hopefully lose another 50 :-)

What excatly are you doing for cardio? Do you have variety? An hour and half a day is lots! Maybe try cutting back on the time and upping the intesity. Also make sure you are doing different things cause your body gets used to the same motions and they become less effective.

Totally stoked! I'm new here and came across this post. I am up for the challenge of losing almost 100 pounds! 2 years ago I was at my max of 290 when I decided to get off my arse and do something about it (Seeing the scale close to 300 freaked me out!!) I went to the gym every day and ate insanely healthy and managed to drop 50 pounds in 5 months. Then for some reason I stopped and kind of slacked off. I'm down to 220 now and would love to be at the 150 mark!  Losing the 70 pounds was honestly not as hard as I thought it would be. I'm ready to start again!

This thread is such a motivation! Let's kick butt! Cool
