I am in the same exact boat. All the weight I lost in a month was in one week and well Im quite sure it was water weight. I just keep telling myself if I stay good one day I will wake up and see a difference. It didnt all pack on overnight and im sure it takes time for your body to adjust to the changes. Keep at it and something will eventually give. |

Im 5'7" 191 lbs my goal is 145 MY daily calorie goal is 1550 my burn meter runs anywhere from 2300-3000 According to my analysis i consume 1442 I bumped it up I was at 1300 something calories the first 3 weeks I was here.

I think you have been building muscle, but for your height it seems you are in the right weight range?????? I would focus on toning what you have and stop obsessing about the weight at this point. |

I suppose you all are right. I am just lazy. I didnt feel like adding up lettuce tomato and mushrooms, but i do add up the sugar veggies like carrots and beet and stuff. it is true it does add up. |

You need to eat at least 1200 calories or you are setting yourself up for a binge. Just make sure to workout and eat. If you dont you will end up gaining anyway. |

Hello ladies! Just weighing in today. WAs 194.8 but as of today I am 191.8 makes for a 3 pound loss this week. I fell off the wagon on Thursday, but I was able to just get back up and get back on. I am working out alot so far this week and hope to have the same if not better results next week.

Okay so I didnt come back on Thursday........had a bit of a bad day, but happy to say that weigh in today Im down 2.2 pounds :) Thats great. I wasnt really all that active last week, but already this week I whipping it into gear!!!!!!! I will be here for support on Thursday, but I think it's better for me to weigh in once a week :)

EGG WHITES!!!!!! I mix them with salsa in the morning with a high fiber low cal tortilla or mix them with veggies and low cal cheese for dinner or lunch. Keeps me full for hours and hours. I actually notice that on days that I don't have them for breakfast I eat far more calories.
Fiber One chocolate chip bars 140 calories and taste like the regular fatty chewy granola bars with tons of fiber :)
Ziploc steamer bags i know its not a food, but you can put veggies and meat in there and cook for under 5 minutes and you have a meal
Kelp noodles virtually no calories great for salads and asian dishes with seafood! Turkey bacon only 35 calories a slice. I have it with my egg whites and tortilla for a great breakfast burrito that keeps me full and on track all day

Trader Joe's has a great olive oil spray that I use for everything. I tried to buy that stupid MIsto oil sprayer and it worked a few times then exploded and well that was the end of that. |

Wow! YOU are one tough cookie. You have been through so much and here you are :) I think it is great that you know to come here for support. I myself have dealt with 3 family deaths one after another, 2 to cancer (my father and aunt) and one to kidney failure (my stepmom) in the past 3 years and with that came 50lbs. Its amazing what we can over come in life. I just recently found this site, and it is the best thing that has ever happened to me! I am glad you are here! I think it will be a big help. You have a friend here :) |

I sort of had that issue today. I am only a week on here, but by the time I had dinner today I was only at 755 calories for the day. So, to get my calories up I forced ate up to 1089 my daily goal is 1550. I am just worried I will gain if I dont eat a certain amount, but this almost never happens. I dont want to eat the whole 1550 today, because its too late. I am trying to not eat after 9pm as well. so I guess I am not the only one. |

I like pilates too. I do alot from home. Over all I eat pretty healthy I love my fruits and veggies. I have narrowed down a few problem areas and that would be alcohol, late night snacking and having bad food around. I have eliminated some and am working on others. I think I will cut out alcohol completely til I go to europe I am more likely to let my guard down and get munchies when I do. As far as late night snacking, I have healthy things but I am gonna try to drink water and chew gum. I bought a food scale LOVE IT! no more guesstimates :) So far this site is doing wonders for me :) Thanx guys! Keep up the good work and support system :) |

I have a couple of inches on you, but I also got a couple of pounds on you :p Im the heaviest I have ever been in my life with a closet full of clothes that dont fit me, and with all the baggy tops that are in fashion I get asked almost once a day if Im pregnant :( but you know what Im here you all are here and well every little bit helps! |

OKay so I just bought a working scale yesterday and when I weighed in yesterday I was 197 but as of today...........................
MONDAY APRIL 14.......5'7'' 194.2 lbs TODAY'S MANTRA: "Today I will be as healthy and active as possible" EXCERCISE: Fat burning pilates workout video, some jump rope and major house cleaning. EATING: as many fruit and veggies as possible. today's goal is to cut off eating at 9pm and to not linger in the kitchen between 6 and 9. I will drink water and eat gum after dinner!!!!!! :) GO TEAM HEALTHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU GUYS ARE GREAT LOOKING FORWARD TO SKINNY US :) |

Our family loves taco soup!!!! Low carbs low fat!!!!! Its a taco spiced chilli, that cooks in 10minutes! 1lb ground turkey 1 package of low sodium taco seasoning 1 package fat free ranch dressing mix 1 can kidney beans 1 can black beans 1 can white beans 1 can rotel tomatos and diced chillis
In a skillet brown and drain turkey meat. Add taco season based on directions of package. In a pot put the seasoned browned turkey meat in and all the other ingredients. The kidney beans are the only can you drain. Do not drain any other cans. Heat to a boil then let simmer.
This is a quick easy dish that we have once a week. Very filling and low in carbs calories and fat :) Let me know how it works out :) |

I feel your pain! It totally feels helpless when you cant stop. I binge when I am stressed in a bad mood or alone. I have learned that I am not able to keep bad food in the house. I used to go on diet binges where I would have to eat all the bad food in the house so I could start dieting. I have not been able to kick the binging habit, but now I try to binge on fruit or veggies. I know the whole binge habit needs to go away completely, but eating a whole bag of carrots or a stalk of celery is alot less damaging then a box of cookies. I once tried to eat a whole cheese ball.......lol sorry I just have to laugh sometime to not cry about it. I think these forums help alot, because instead of stuffing my face , I am here listening and replying :) |
