Right when I wake up. Seems to give the most consistent results. |

| Health & Support | What does healthy mean to you? | Apr 10 2008 06:28 (UTC) |

Healthy, to me, is a peace and confidence I have in myself that's exuded to the people around me. It's both physical and mental. Physically, I'm probably fine at my current weight. Do I feel fine, though? Not really. I probably won't until I'm back at my previous weight. |

Spend $30 on a food scale and go from there. Pretty much the best investment I made toward losing weight. |

Any sort of seafood really. The smell alone is gag-inducing.
A close second might be grits. |

| Weight Loss | Omg! Calories in gum...this is ridiculus. | Apr 10 2008 06:21 (UTC) |

Weird. I find that gum actually suppresses my appetite a ton...sort of like coffee.
It keeps my mouth busy and provides a bit of flavor. |

I used to be at a point where I'd actually factor my gum into my daily allotment.
I was sort of psychotic about it. I no longer do that. |

I was writing a letter-jumbler program in c++ which utilized vectors. Go figure. |

| Weight Loss | Is anybody else binging only at parents house? | Apr 10 2008 05:59 (UTC) |

I'm having the exact same problem. My parents seem to love bringing the worst foods into the house. Ice cream, delivery pizza, calorific sodas. Then there's the part where my mother loves to cook. Lasagna, fettucini, spaghetti; basically whatever pasta you can think of. It's incredibly hard to turn them down since my family eats together each night. Four more months and I'm on my own, but until then...sheesh. I only wish I could get them to eat healthier. |
