Not a fan of The Life of Pi either.

I also didn't like Stephanie Meyer's book The Host even though I enjoyed the Twilight books. Very disappointing.

Recipes fat free sugar free crispy cookies Apr 16 2009
18:03 (UTC)

The peanut butter cookie recipe I think hcannon23 is talking about is this one:

  • 1 cup peanut butter, creamy or crunchy
  • 1 1/3 cups baking sugar replacement (recommended: Splenda)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a large baking sheet.

In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, 1 cup sugar replacement, the egg, and vanilla, and stir well with a spoon. Roll the dough into balls the size of walnuts. Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet. With a fork, dipped in sugar replacement to prevent sticking, press a crisscross design on each cookie. Bake for 12 minutes, remove from the oven, and sprinkle the cookies with some of the remaining sugar replacement. Cool slightly before removing from pan.

This is actually Paula Deen's recipe. !!!

I think they can be crispy if you make them flat enough. They are fantastic either way!

I'm actually cutting my hair short for the first time this Thursday. I've realized I've always had it long but have never really liked it. The guys I was with in the past would always want it to stay long. Well since I'm single I'm chopping it off. I'm mad I haven't done it sooner!

Every morning I add: 1.5 tablespoons flaxseed, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla whey protein powder, soy protein powder, a little stevia (1/2 teaspoon) and splenda (1 tablespoon). It seems like a lot but it's now my routine I look forward to every morning!

For the steel cut oats: I make a huge batch that gets me through the week that I keep in the refrigerator. I scoop out about a cup of it at a time and heat it in the microwave. :)

Foods Starbucks Pumpkin Spice latte... what's in it? Sep 03 2008
21:20 (UTC)
4

The syrup used in the Pumpkin Spice Latte is more like white mocha than the clear syrups such as vanilla. This is why there are more calories because it is a more dense syrup. So a tall, soy, no whip, Pumpkin Spice Latte has 3 pumps of syrup, 1 shot of espresso, soy milk and then the cinnamon/nutmeg/spice sprinkle blend to top it off. :)

I would suggest getting less pumps of pumpkin syrup and maybe sub one of those pumps for vanilla. mmmm I love the fall :)
