Hey everyone. Good news today for me. I am down another 2.1lbs. That puts me at 237.4 and down 4lbs total. Only 6 to go! yay! Good job starlitocean.... good job everyone! :)

Hello Everyone. Despite a not so fantastic weekend I had some happy scale time today and I thought I would share. I will repost my real weekly weigh-in on Friday. :)

SW (04/16/08): 247.5lbs

Challenge SW (04/24/08): 239.6 (-7.9lbs)

CW (04/28/08): 237.4 (-2.1lbs)

YAY! Only 22.9lbs to go!

Dont fret infiniteheart! I weigh myself daily too... because I need to remind myself everyday that I am on this journey (and because I am a little OCD too... ha ha). I see fluxuations everyday as well. I know it can be discouraging but I know that you will see a change and that you are on the right road. Dont give up! I definitely notice when I work out really hard I end up gaining weight for a day or two but then I drop it all. I am on the right trend and that is all that matters. Just try not to be too hyped up on the number and gauge how you feel too. :) Keep up the good work!

Hello everyone. I definitely want in on this challenge. I have just completed my first week of dieting and exersizing and I would love to have some modivation to keep me from falling off the wagon. :) I really think I can do this, I really think we all can! I feel so much better even after just one week and I want to make it stick. Good luck everyone! Be strong!

Today was a good day for me. I was able to run 2 miles and then come home and do 45 minutes of cardio training without stopping. I sweated more than I have in a LONG time but it felt so good after. Yay.

Hey guys! I want to get on this challenge for sure. I really think it is doable and I would like to keep myself on track through the next few weeks because I tend to start to slack after my first week of a plan. My stats are below. Good luck to everyone and I know you can do it!

I finished 50 minutes of aerobic cardio with NO BREAKS (Yessss!) and I stayed within my calories and feel great! Oh, and going on 8 days of not eating out, all home cooked meals! Everyone is doing great things! Good luck!

Thank you so much infiniteheart! I have been working my butt off for the week but it is my first week so I know it will slow. It was definitely a GREAT jump start though. :) I know what you mean about the summer sun.... I live in San Diego and it is a beautiful day and I just feel great. Good luck everyone!

Hi everyone. I have been reading your post and I wanted to know if I can join your journey as well. You are all so inspiring and I like to feel like my goal of 100lbs is not just a personal struggle.

I currently weigh 240lbs, down from my start weight of 247.5lbs a week ago. I have done really well to start and I have been able to lose weight before but I want this to really hit home and become a life-style for me. I am tired of being unhealthy and I need the feedback and support to feel like I am making a difference. :)

It looks like weight posts are Mondays so if everyone is ok for me to jump into the mix I will continue updating as the weeks progress. Thanks! And I know everyone can do it.... we can do it together.

Welcome kalla. You are almost my twin. I am 25, 5'4" and weigh 239 currently so maybe we can help modivate eachother on this journey. I have only been doing this for a week but I definitely thing that gi-jane has a point to finding what works. Right now I am working on a 1300-1500 calorie per day intake and working out 1-2 times a day with a 1 day a week rest. It is working very well so far and I have lost 6lbs this week. I think that what I am doing will slow to about 2-3 lbs per week from this point on so I am doing well but its like a learning curve to see what works for your body. I hope this helps and let me know how you are doing. Good luck!
