yes definitely! In the gym I go to they have a sign hanging up that explains that strength doesn't tire you as much for cardio as cardio tires you for strength. plus it says something about that strength burns like carbs or something so then you'll go right to burning fat when you do your cardio. |

thanks gi-jane for the response! and yeah looking at it that way i'm not as worried :] I'm mostly just worried about C25K and that I wont be able to pick up where I left off. |

Yeah,, Thats happening to me too. My boobs are so much smaller now D: that was like the only thing I didn't want to lose lol. But I think its in proportion to the rest of my body at least, I'm not like flat or anything. |

buy one of those humongous waters so you always have something to put in your mouth so you don't feel tempted to go buy something to eat. thats what i do. plus you can never have enough water! only problem is you are gonna have to piss really bad when the movie is over. lol. |

I'm in! My goal is to be in the 140's by Christmas, 150's by October 15th [in time for a concert, and halloween!] Right now I'm 165. I've been making a LOT of progress lately, because schools in, and the weather is perfect, but I always have a hard time continuing my progress. soo I guess I'll check in once a week. My weakness is when I get a little down I emotional eat... and also my lunch time at school is 10:00 AM so when I get home I have a hard time not overly-snacking. Also, I consume wayyy too much sodium. Also, right now I don't have very much homework and no extracurriculars but I know I will start getting a lot later, and I might not be able to get to the gym as often. But I can do it. oookay then :] |

I've been on here for 4 months and 10 days. and I've only lost 15 lbs out of the 35 I want to lose. Thats probably because I didn't start for like 2 weeks after I actually signed up, and for most of the summer I didn't try to lose weight at all. But now I'm back on track! :D |

I'm agnostic, but I'm raised Catholic, and I know how important it is to them. I would be really pissed off if they took God out of the Pledge and Money, etc, because without the belief in God this country would be wayyy different. Also, whats 2 or 3 words? Its not like you read your money. If what is written on your money has any affect what so ever on your beliefs, then WOW. If you don't believe in it, its just a word. If you don't like saying 'under God', then don't. Its a free country. |

that sucks, i'm sorry your day was so bad :[ my day sucked too, not as much as yours, but just because its a Saturday and I have nothing to do and I have no one to drive me to the Y so I sat around the house watching TV allll day. But it was good because I weighed myself and I've lost 12.8 lbs! In less than a month! :D |

yeah, my best friend. Her parents help her with EVERY. SINGLE. ASSIGNMENT. They sit down and teach her stuff she doesn't understand. She has usually already been taught the lesson we are learning in class. (My parents don't get half stuff I'm learning lol) And then, even though they make it physically impossible to get anything less than an A, they give her $50 for each A on her report card. They buy her whatever she wants. She has 3 iPods, none of which she bought herself. Her parents make her lunch everyyy day. AND, not to mention socially, my ex best friends that decided they hate me last year are now practically stealing her away from me. So, shes rich, spoiled, star soccer player, first chair flute, straight A student. My parents are broke, I play 3rd base on my park district softball team, 5th chair cello, 5 A's 2 B's. But at least I did it by myself, and I know that when I go to college I'll be soo much better off because I'm not so reliant on my parents, and I KNOW she'll be struggling with no one handing her everything. |

I HIGHLY recommend babysitting, I have a job this summer for 2 1/2 months, twice a week for 7 hours a day, $5 an hour. So I'll be making $70 a week, thats $700 by the end of the summer. (idk if thats considered a lot because I'm only 14, and this is my first job.) But babysitting is also good because you don't get taxed, and its very flexible schedules. AND its fun! :D |
