Ha! I work with a doctor who drinks Coke all day long and is overweight and she tells people to lose weight because they are too 'fat'! Some are smaller than what she is!! I feel like saying "well you should set the example!" doctors should know better but obviously not! I reckon most of us on here know more about nutrition that alot of doctors do |

ive lost 11lbs and have only just started to notice my clothes being a little bit bagger, not alot.. Im a size 14 too just like you and hope to reach size 10/12 by the end of September You are doing great dont give up! |

thanks for your replies... Its not any irritation from clothing as when I work out I work out in my underwear and only wear a bra and knickers (only do this at home, and I work out only at home apart from going swimming) Well my boyfriend thought they might be veins that have burst as it looks a bit like blood has risen to the surface, thats what he thought bless him

Is ten minutes okay to start off with? I ran this morning and it was about 10 mins when i got back home I felt knackered! Should I increase it everyday of add 10 mins or so to my run every week? |

its on the top of my thighs but its now spreading further down my thighs to my knees now, only a few here and there.. I've never had them before untill i started exercising 6 weeks ago... no they arent itchy, when you press on them they dont dissapear and you can feel little lumps where the red spot is.. |

I've taken alot of everyones advice and thank you... You have given me the motivation to go out and do it.. And first thing this morning when I woke up (8am) I put on my jogging bottoms, a top and my trainners and went for for a power walk and on my way back home I jogged back (I was knackered!!) Was only out the house for 10 mins if that! lol... I hope to get better and be able to last alot longer.. Think I was knackered because on my walk down its downhill, but once I was running back its all uphill, I ll get better Thank you for the advice, gunna try going for a walk/run every morning now and stuff what others think. Thank you |

Thank you for your replies.. Neither my mum and dad are wine drinkers, my mum doesnt touch alcohol and my dad is a larger/beer person... As for the dinner ideas I wish I could do something like that for them but I like not far off an hours drive away and there anniversary is on wednesday and I work all week |

im exactly the same!! I lose a few pounds or even a pound in a week and think, "oh i'll have a slice of that cake or a biscuit seeing as ive lost 1-2lbs" I want to STOP it! |

I want to be able to buy clothes at a store and not have to be embarrassed because theres a thin person at the till serving me To not have chub-rub when wearing a skirt I want to be able to just take up one seat in the bus instead of bum & tighs overlapping into the next seat For guys to look at me and think "oo shes hot!" - I have NEVER had this all my life and it would be a great confidence boost as I dont have much confidence So my boyfriend can lift me up without having to put me down after 20 seconds because Im too heavy (he doesnt say that but I know thats the reason why he cant carry me for any longer than a few seconds) I plan to get married in the future and dont want to play the traditional wedding song as I walk down the isle and think others are singing "here comes the bride, all fat and wide" I'm going on holiday in September and want to look good in photos and be able to wear a bikini I also HATE the fat that sits under my bra line and the fat rolls i get on my back from wearing a bra - I so want them GONE!!! Or at least not as noticable I want my shoulder bones back that I used to have! I'll stop now as I could go on for ages lol ....... |

I agree!! I've only lost 10lbs and still have another 20lbs to lose to get to a healthy weight of 150lbs, ideal my long term goal is 140lbs but aslong as im 150lbs by the time i go on holiday in Sept ill work on the last 10lbs when I get back. But i feel great! I now have muscles where I never knew I could have muscles lol! My tights are alot more muscley (sp?) my arms are more defined and well my bum, I love it!! My bum iss sooo much smaller now I cant believe it, my boyfriend keeps commenting on it, saying how he can get one cheek in one of his hands now lol... My clothes now fit better with some being too baggy on my now Keep up the hard work everyone and congrats on your weight loss so far |

I'm currently 172-174lbs (was 181lbs 5 weeks ago) and want to lose 20lbs by September and be around 150lbs because I'm going on my first ever proper holiday!! Going on a plane!! Never been on one before I usually do 3 days of Aerobics (30 mins) and 2 days of trampoling (30 mins).. but slacked last week and only did 2 days of aerobics Good luck to everyone |

Wen I make pancakes I usually use half plain flour and half raising flour the raising flour makes them plump up and become fluffy... Maybe see if that makes a difference |

Calm down, its just one day.. It wont make a HUGE difference.. Just make sure you get back on track by drinking plenty of water and making sure you have healthy snacks around so you can eat them instead of sugary/fatty foods... I have them days where I eat anything I fancy (to a degree) and dont count my calories. I had one at the weekend and it has actually helped with my weight loss, I was stuck on 175/174.8lbs and am now down to 174/173.8lbs.. So dont worry too much |

| I can relate with the partner situation my partner is 6'3" and weights around 175lbs (ha the same weight as me!! and im 5'6").. He eats whatever he likes, ice-creams, chocolates, crisps, second portions of dinner, fast food etc you name it.. and he is so skinny and its sooooo not fair! :( | |||

Also is 1600 calories what I need if I did nothing all day or is that with my exercise added in? What sort of defict will I have? Sorry would check the website but im at work and its blocked so I cant access it. So as I lose weight I need to reduce my calories, I heard you reduce your calories ever 10lbs? Also how much do u reduce them by every 10lbs you lose? |

| I just use CC for the forum really as I find adding in all my daily food in here takes far too long, instead I've got a diary I keep and write everything down in that. Im a bit worried about upping my calories incase my weight increases. When I was reading posts earlier today about decreasing your calories as you lose weight I got a bit worried that I'm only on 1300 as I can only decrease that by 100 calories minimum... Do i increase my calories straight away like from today up to 1600? or increase it by 100 a day until I reach 1600? Thank you for your advice :) | |||
