i actually typed the diet plan...a couple of years ago...when it first came out for people who bought slim in 6 before the diet plan book...i can look for it on my computer and send it to you an email or something.

Hi I am 5' 6 1/2", weight 171.6 lbs. I started off at 189 lbs. My goal is 141 lbs.

Tip: Don't be afraid to ask for substitutions when you're out to eat. Most restaurants are happy to substitute mixed greens for fries (or steamed veggies for buttery mashed potatoes) if you ask. If they can't (or won't), just ask the kitchen to leave the calorie-dense side off of the plate altogether so you're not tempted to go at it when it hits your table.

2350 Calories seem about right if you want to lose 3 lbs per week. If you want to lose about 2 lbs per week stick with your current calorie intake of 2750. If You take BMR calculation subtract current calorie intake and calories burned during exercise (if any). Then you take that number multiply by 7 (days per week). Then take that number and divide it by 3,500 (calories = 1 pound). This number gives the number pounds you will lose per week if you stick with current calorie intake.

I been doing cardio and strength training consistently since the very beginning of March starting off doing 45 mins of elliptical cross training programs about 5 times a week. Now I do 33 mins of interval training on elliptical (burn a lot of calories doing this...very hard) and another 27 mins of cross training programs which is easier for me. So a total of 60 mins (includes two 5 mins cooldowns) of cardio a day about 5-6 times a week.

Strength training I do about 4 times a week alternating the lower and upper body. I use weight machines, free weights, resistance bands, and my own body weight.

I lost 12 lbs since I started. I was kind discouraged because I thought I should had lost more by now. And wanted to quit. But I was thinking what good would that do. Even if I am not losing weight eating healthier and exercising regularly is good for me. So I am still continuing to eat healthy and exercise regularly. Everyone is telling me I look nice. And that I am doing good and that I am going to lost weight slower because I don't have a lot of weight to lose.
