That's actually one of the biggest reasons I often don't eat breakfast, or don't eat much of it: I don't like breakfast foods. I never have. If I go out to eat breakfast with friends? I order off the lunch menu. Wink But these days I typically will eat at least a little something for breakfast, even if it is more what one would eat at lunch—like a bit of my leftover dinner—because I otherwise might be tempted to overeat at the appointed hour for lunch.

That being said, though, I still listen to my body first and foremost. I do not believe that I need to eat breakfast just because. If I really don't feel like it, I won't eat it. I generally eat about 3,000 calories a day, and I'm 111 and losing, so I'm pretty sure my body can deal with skipping breakfast....

I do enjoy breakfast classics like eggs and toast and what have you, but I do, like you, enjoy having "lunch" for "breakfast."

It's like another poster said, it literally means to "break your fast" so if Im not in the mood for cooking up some breakfast, I just have a sandwich and carrot sticks, or a Lean Cuisine of some sort. To me, chicken alfredo tastes good and fills me up anytime of the day!! Its most important to fuel and nourish your body when it needs it, may it be morning or any other time.

Haha, I agree with MortalMonkey.

Im hungry a little while after I get up because I dont eat after 7 PM. I dont eat after that time because thats the time Im usually just sitting down watching TV or on the computer. Im not eating, but Im also not being productive.

However, I am very much productive in the AM. Im not hungry till late afternoon, at which time I just have a sensible, healthy lunch. By dinner time, I usually just have a piece of fruit because Im really not hungry.

I guess it does depend on the person. But I do feel a lot more energized now than I ever did not eating in the morning. I felt like a ZOMBIE!!!
