That's strange, I've never tasted garlic in any egg beaters I've had. Who knew? |

Beating =/= slap across the hand/ass And who says we're proud? I don't think any single parent is proud of punishing their kid. |

<rant> The overuse of cellphones annoy me. Everywhere I look, people are texting. Like, constantly. In class, in the elevator, DRIVING, at the register etc etc. I can't even imagine what little 10-15 year olds are like on buses with cellphones, that shouldn't even be allowed. When I took the bus to school back then, we weren't even allowed to use a cd player, chew gum (or any candy) or anything like that. </rant> As for the article, it wasn't a spanking. What exactly is a swat on the behind? Is it being exaggerated? Was it a tap, was it a giant slap, did it leave a red mark etc? The "unruly child" could be blowing it out of proportion because he/she is PO'd that they got in trouble, and "hit". Also, the bus driver makes the rules for their bus. If they say no cell phone, then it's no cell phone. If they said no eating or drinking, then there is no eating or drinking. If they said no loud talking, then people speak softly. These are rules, if they're not followed then their punishment is justified (obviously restrictions apply, like spankings!). |

Word of caution, if you're allergic to certain plants, you could be allergic to Stevia (if you can deal with the awful taste). |

1 box of cake and 1 can of diet sprite (would be coke if the cake was chocolate). It tastes exactly the same and you only get the cals from the mix. :D As for toppings, maybe fruit? Like chopped strawberries or something. |

I'd hate to have to pay for it though. But I can see why it's important for EVERYONE (not just the obese) to learn. |

Make sure she's drinking, it sounds like she's losing a lot of water. I'd definitely seek a 2nd opinion. Here's a link to various types of kitty worms. |

Original Post by moonikins: Hmmm, probably true. My mother married my father, who's American, and my mother was born in Portugal (but lived in the US since she was 2), and she easily became a citizen. Still, it's a bit unfair. :| |

I'd just like to say that chocolate is extremely lethal to most animals (dogs, cats, horses etc), except white chocolate (it doesn't have actual cocoa liqor in it). It can cause heart attacks, seizures and is ultimately fatal as they can't process the theobromine(sp) in chocolate, and it just stays in their blood. Anyhow, this thread encouraged me to open a can of cranberry jelly crap (I now call it this irl), and I ate some last night and it was delicious. |

I don't use public restrooms unless it's an emergency. When I do use it, I don't care if people are next to me or not, but I'm a nervous pee-er!! It's a struggle to get it out sometimes when people are around. D: I have the same problem when I need to pee into a cup for medical reasons, the bladder just shuts itself off. I've never done #2 in public. :o |

I don't really have a good opinion about myself at all. I hope to change this though. One good thing I can say about myself is that I'm extremely empathetic. |
