thanks a lot. i think i won't be asking him for coffee yet. yup i think i'll try the friendship thing. but i'm not really sure how to because let's see i see him in the morning, he's making rounds, so am i ( either giving report to the next shift) . like this morning, he just said "hey what's up" and then he left. the thing is i am the one who's asking questions about his stuffs than he is to me.i think he only ask me once about myself. ( sigh) anyway guys thanks a lot. i really feel better at least i have people sharing this situation than keeping it all by myself. in response to trustwomen. MD crush dilemma..just to happen that this is really the first time that i really really like an Md and is kind of intimidating. |

i agree, men generally get hit on than females. why is that?! hmm.. anyway, i don't want to ask him out. still getting clues. so i have this mind set now to sort of let things go, but not act weird in front of him, you know tell myself not to be into him so much. This way i won't have this high hope only to be disappointed. also he is new , so there's a possibility that he still not in his comfort zone. i don't know it's not that he's an MD , i don't know maybe the personality, the thing when you look into his eyes you see a nice guy. anyway i saw him this morning, my heart started pounding. i kept on telling myself to let it go. made a few conversation. he even joked around. so that was my morning today...felt happy but I'll try to not think of him too much |

thanks. additional info. he's just in this hospital for one year and he'll be transferring to another one within the city. i'm a night nurse.he's now on days so i see him in the am. btw skookum like what kind of things you thought they were hot and finally lost the lust? katesorad you're right we all do have stressful jobs. about the coffee i'll try to have the guts to ask him. please share your opinions. really need a bunch |

i count calories in my head and i bring my own food.i just drink water or diet soda. people say that they have binge days and still they were able to make it. i'm just wondering why i can't. i know that there's a possibility that the days that i overeat maybe the culprit, i don't know really. i do interval boxing,rebounding class, at times treadmill. i actually feel better and i definitely have more definition in my butt. but the fact that the jeans is still tight isn't a good sign. |

i think that molly is a fool for taking him back. i mean what kind of person would give his word then suddenly just because of blocks along the road would change his mind. i used to feel for jason when it was with deanna. now. ullk |

i put them in the freezer so that they would be inedible. i soak them in water or give them to others as well oh yeah i would not come home in the afternoon. because that when the binge really occurs |

i meant by perfect is that i do exercise,like kickboxing and rebounding. by the way, i'm 5'6' female 152 lbs. age 23.the last time i weigh myself was 2 weeks ago. i stopped weighing myself because i lose hope when i see the numbers. no measurements too. maybe i'll base it on the fitting of clothes. i've gained 20 lbs in 2 years. i do squats too, so maybe some muscles on my thigh. i think maybe my eating habits is the main culprit. but i'm proud to say that i started eating healthier( i used to take out 5 times /week, now i cook my food). it's just frustrating that the times i lose control hinders my goal and everything goes down the drain. thank you so much for your time. |

thanks for the info. i also have the spray bottle. i bought it from williams-sonoma.I use it now instead of the non stick spray oil. It's not 0 cal but a little goes a long way.I actually bought it because the lady who works there told me to use that one to prevent damage on my non-stick pans! |

yes that happens to me all the time too. it's like at nighttime, i would tell myself that i can eat an apple and then before i know it, i'll be eating chips , etc.. |

i agree with the posted ones. Be healthy for yourself. I tend to become discouraged most of the times. You know what helped me psyched up is the FEb issue of SELF magazine, they have this article about being comfortabe in one's own skin. Just think of the benefits of losing weight. Of course when you eat healthy, you get better skin, you will feel more confident, you will have lesser chance of getting sick...and others. |

i would prefer the 100% juice rather than the diet sodas.betweent the two i think that the juice satisfies me more than the sodas. i'm trying to cut off diet sodas slowly, because there have been studies about artificial sweeteners. but of course, watch out for portions for they can be pretty high caloric. |

yup same here. i eat good during the day then i have 600 calories left for dinner. but then i would eat chips thinking that i have been good the whole day and then before i know it, i have been eating the entire bag. then i would be so depressed thinking that all the hard work that i have done for the entire week is ruined. i think the suggestion of clg7357 might work. i'll do that too! |

One the average i eat good for 3-4 days and then i binge. then back to the cycle. is it the same as "shocking" the body or yo-yo dieting? im quite confused.i have been working out and i noticed that im beginning to have muscle but overall i dont think i lost weight and i would not want to get on the scale because i know that it is not going down. |
