thanks everyone for your input! I think i'll try and find those aerobic step up boxes to lift the barbell higher off the ground..and yes..i hurt my lower back when i was 14 and so i have to be careful doing exercises that could easily strain it when not performed corectly..so hopefully this new strategy will do the trick! |

| Weight Loss | I'm really really really scared now | Mar 30 2009 16:26 (UTC) |

i understand that whole fear mentality with food. its messed up; so when you feel like eating a certain food is going to have dire effects on you (i.e. gain tons of weight in a day) its not so easy to relax and forget about it. What you have to do is remnd yourself that you are allowed to indulge...but next time try to catch yourself in the moment and keep your portion in moderation. these past two weeks i've had a dessert almost every night..within my cals range and have lost 3lbs so far...so if you can't talk yourself down.i would suggest going to the gym and burning off 300-500 cals. that has what has kept me sane in the past. as for the bad relationship with food? I'm still trying to figur that one out myself,as well : / |

sorry about the confusion...i know that its impossible to get incredibly jacked like the professional weight lifters...but i don't want to stay at the build I am at and put on muscle...i want to look slimmer with muscles...i dont know if i'm expressing my notions clearly... |

since you already received great advice and it looks like your mom will be there for support and to help talk to the doctor...i just want to offer moral support and strength to get through the obstacles in your life right now. just think...admitting you have a problem and wanting to receive help are the hardest steps to take towards recovery and you've already past those..good luck in recovery..i'm keeping you in my prayers that you find your way back to a normal, happy, and carefree life again! |
