First off, good job with your efforts to overcome your ED.  I too went through the same struggles.  Maybe try planning your food intake for the entire day and sticking to it....proper calories and all.  This way, you are not at risk of undereating and are still able to keep track of calories.  Then once your comfortable with eating a normal amount of calories daily, you can stop counting and eat normally.

How do you burn 1200 cals a day from workouts?  Are you calculating your cals burned properly?  Some cardio machines do not calculate your calories burned accurately.

I feel ya...I have been trying to lose 10 lbs since January and I have not lost anything either.  I'm a runner too (4-6 miles a day) along with other exercises and I'm so frustrated about this too.  I am 5'1 and 122 now, I want to be at 115-110.  I burn more or less than 500 cals a day and eat around 1500 cals...don't know what I'm doing

I'm an Asian female raised here in the US and I totally understand what you mean.  As I grew up, my mother constantly told me to watch what I eat or else I wold get fat. I always felt like all of the other Filipino girls I grew up with were all so tiny compared to me.  I was always self conscious about my body image and developed an eating disorder.  People constantly come up to me and said things like..."your so lucky to be asian, this is why your so skinny"...I'm thinking to myself, I'm skinny because I hate my body and I starve myself, ha.  And you know what else bothered me, people always thinking Asians were super smart.  My parents never gave me those genes.  I worked my ass off in school!!!

200 cals a day???  Thats like a 1/2 piece of chicken breast and a cup of yogurt.  You may lose weight now but guess what, once you eat normally, you will gain all or most of that weight back...and it won't be muscle weight, it will all be fat cause your body will be in a conservation mode.  I am not sure but I think you are underweight or close to it for your height.  Forget your diet sweetie, just practice a clean eating lifestyle.  Don't count calories, just eat healthy...you don't need to lose any more weight

First of, you are not at all fat.  I don't know what you look like but with your height and weight, you are healthy and not at all overweight. I can't believe she would say such a horrible thing to you.  I'm sure she is just insecure about her self around you...maybe jealous about your beautiful body, your relationship with your bro (her husband), or something else.  Just brush her negative words because all you need to know is you are beautiful!!

I'm so afraid to add more calories to my food intake but I guess I need to give it a try...everything else I've done so far has gotten me nowhere.  Thanks for the advice everyone, I really appreciate it.

Thanks for the info everyone.  I will aim for 1200 calories after exercise as MERYLWHITE1 has recommended...I think that's where I was mistaken before.  It will probably help me with my energy and mood levels.  Thanks again

Gi-gane, thanks for the response.  I should probably eat more than 1200 calories but I just want to know how much more to eat to lose weight because I am not losing any right now.  I am still looking to lose 10 lbs (which would still put me in my BMI range), I want to do it as healthy as possible...that's why I'm trying to research "starvation mode" and how my body works.  I

Fabfuture- Is that called zig zag calorie dieting...when you eat a lot of calories one day and lower cals another?  I've always wondered if that is actually helpful.  Also, can anyone really give me an answer about "Starvation Mode"?  I keep reading different things about it.  Some say it can actually happen and others say it is just a myth.  I am still so confused!!!

Thanks for the advice.  I drink nothing but water but I should probably drink more.  Also, I don't take any vitamins now but my hubby always tells me I should so maybe I'll start taking a multivitamin.  Should I combine a multi with the B vitamin?  Do you think I am eating enough...I do eat pretty healthy (egg whites, veggies, chicken breast), trying to stay away from starchy carbs.
