Maybe these ideas will help:

use spices and herbs to jazz up your veggies and fruits, like cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, basil, oregano.

make a stir fry and add your favorite sauce

dip them in a favorite dip

eat a fruit bar or dried fruit (not the same nutritional return but you get the fiber)

eliminate the competition like cookies, chips and candy

 

finally remind yourself that you will not given up yourself, you are too important to you to do that :-)!

Have you also changed your nutitional intake: like more zinc, vitamin C, Vit D, and added onion or garlic to your foods. You sound like you need to support your immune system (most drugs just suppress symptoms) so that you can help your body fight off the sinus infection.

Your body can heal itself when you give it the food (nutrients) it needs.

Hope you are feeling better soon.

try EFT (www.emofree.com) techniques to get to the root cause of why stress triggers eating. it has made a difference for me. you've made the first step though in recognizing that stress causes you to eat.
