| Weight Loss | Birthday binge | Sep 01 2008 22:14 (UTC) |

it was my birthday a few days ago, and i knew i wouldnt stick to my normal diet... the night before i had two big slices of chocolate cake, then on my actual day apart from a nutty crunch cereal and ham and peas for dinner all i ate was cake, chocolate and sponge... and instead of feeling relieved for letting go of my healthy eating, i felt bloated and ill ! It wasn't worth it, and i actually feel much better now after eating normally again.. no desires to go back to that sort of binge! just move forward, no need for deprivation.. trust me it just messes your body more ! and i doubt you'll have any weight gain .. i didnt ! |

hi, for a while i suffered from this too, and then i read in a newspaper article about how your body still needs some carbs to provide energy for sleeping. so therefore instead of eating no carbs after 6 which i used to do, i would then have a small sweet potato, half a slice of brown bread or a banana, and have found that my weight has not gone up and i am able to sleep full nights without the hunger ! its about giving your body enough necessary food, and if you are waking up starving then you are not fuelling yourself adequately enough ! hope that helps x x x x |

i have found that after losing one stone i have far more confidence and am therefore much happier! however i now have the problem of constantly fearing that i will put the weight back on as i have slightly increased carb intake to prevent more weightloss.. does anyone else have this problem? If so, how have you overcome this fear?

A juicy and delicious chicken dish i love to eat is chicken stuffed with cheese covered in red peppers. get a chicken breast, slice the centre of it and stuff some soft, cream cheese in the centre. if on a diet, use a tbsp or less to lower fat levels. Then, close the chicken and covered it in roasted red peppers from a jar and use a bit of the oil from the jar to cover it. then lightly cover the chickens in foil and bake for half an hour to fourty minutes till white in the centre. this is a deliciou and juicy dish, and goes well with baked sweet potatoes, boiled potatoes and any sort of vegetables !

| Weight Loss | Is this too much cardio? | Jun 16 2008 13:09 (UTC) |
24 |
although cardio is the best way to lose weight, your body, if you carry on exercising at such a high rate so frequently, willwear itself out. its much better to do 35-40 minutes three days in a row. or if not then an hour every other day so that your body can rest in-between. this is because your body will not be able to keep up with the strains of such exercise. good luck with losing weight, and remember that your diet is equally if not a more important aspect to weight loss!

you are thirteen years old, don't worry about what you eat, but obviously don't eat excessively. if you cant eat what you want now, and indulge yourself at your age then when can you ? just make sure to get a decent amount of carbs, protein and vegetables and stop worrying about calories, when i was your age i didnt even know they existed! |
