Malaika99:
My dress is gorgeous! Strapless, lots of embrodery and beads on top, fitted through until the hip area, then it flares out a bit but not too puffy...kinda like a mermaid/a-line...my train is medium length with more embrodery/beading, lace up back and an offwhite colour (white made me look washed out) It cost a pretty penny but totally worth, even more so because my parents bought it for me :) Any ideas on what you are thinking of? |

Thank you Thank you and Thank you! I knew this rapid weightloss was just too good to be true! Ultimately I am doing this for the long term, however, the big wedding day makes my motivation sky rocket through the roof! Im not a really big person at all, infact Im right in my "healthy" BMI, but I was 115lbs when I first moved in with my fiance...add an extra 20lbs and presto you've got one motivated bride! Im 5'5 and would just love to look fabulous in my wedding dress...we will see i'm going to stick with it and see where it goes...the beer I was consuming plus unhealthy snacks was not in the least bit good for me :) Thanx all for the support and I will keep you updated on my weightloss before the big day! |

Well, I live in B.C. Canada, we have Swiss Chalet here, they offer a lot of healthier options, but a lot of restaurants everywhere offer delivery and you can try to google nutritional information of the kind of food you are ordering...when ordering out, try to get a garden salad with a chicken breast and salad dressing on the side thats always a safe bet...be careful of how restaurants prepare food and if you don't know-ask! Some pizza joints now offer whole wheat crust-ask for it thin crust, load it with veggies, and ask them to go light on the cheese...that should save a few calories there... Also...some fast-food places now offer low fat and low cal options as well, just be aware of all the extra sodium! Good luck! |

LOL!!! When I read what that person said about you having a problem and that you might go out and kill a pregnant lady I couldn't stop laughing...not to be harsh but come on...first of all this is a site dedicated to SUPPORT people and help them with their weight loss, not point fingers and blame people for something that has nothing to do with anything. Im a 25yr old female, and I too have a little friend I like to call beer..lol I live with my fiance and blame my 20lb weight gain in the past 2 yrs on it...that being said, we could easily drink 5 beers a night within a 6 hour period no questions asked and Im still completely legal to drive...drinking is not a problem for me but it is when I'm trying to loose weight for my wedding which is in 2 1/2 months...the way I look at it im going to starve myself of beer until the wedding night and drink like it goes out of style on the honeymoon...Im young, and this is what young people do especially when your in the industry...just drink responsibly people...if your drinking, don't drive...and if you find yourself missing work/school more then your attending, then maybe you should think about getting help...otherwise enjoy life, but be smart about it :) |

Im going to try to eat between 1200-1500 cal a day, depending on how much excercise I am doing on that paticular day. I live with my fiance and have gained 20lbs in 2yrs--grrrrrr :( that being said he is a VERY big eater with a huge sweet tooth and a need for greasy junk food...He is 6'1 and about 170lbs, muscular--->it makes me sick! lol but yeah, we have gotten into the habit of drinking a few beers after work, eating dinner, then having a snack before bed which is usually chips or some other greasy salty snack...I would assume I have been consuming about 2500-3000 cals a day at least...beer alone has about 150cals per beer so yeah it really adds up...I've cut out alcohol completely, stopped snacking after dinner and I've lost 2lbs in the last 3days :D Yay right? I'm trying to keep up my loss but I want to do it healthy so that it stays off for the wedding...So far today I have had 1cup black coffee, and an egg white omelet (2 egg whites, green pepper, red pepper, and red onion-cooked with pam cooking spray) topped with fat free cheese and i'm sooooo full! My calories have added up to 270 so far...so today I will shoot for 1200, we will see how it goes :) Im soooo excited to have found such great support! This site is amazing :) |

Hey guys! Im in too :) Im getting married sept 20/08 and I would love to be 30lbs lighter...does this sound like a steep goal to anyone? Or do you think it is possible? I have a tendancy to loose weight fast when I cut out beer (I usually drink 3-5 a night-I know GROSS)potato chips, and all that other bad stuff for me :) So yeah, having some support would be totally awesome :) Let me know what you think? |

MmMmMmMm!!!
Love Kebabs! I usually go with: Chicken Chunks, Red pepper, Green pepper, Onion and Mushroom, then drizzle it with low cal BBQ sauce, so good and so good for you too~! Stay away from Baked potatoes or any other high carb foods, maybe try eating it with plain corn on the cobb to make you feel more satified :) Good luck, I think that is what I will have for dinner-Yum! |
