It is so cold here too.

I have gained 3 pounds since Christmas, but still at my goal weight.

I want to tone up a bit, so I can wear my bathing suit in Fla lol

I haven't been counting calories at all, but I am not really gaining. I'm happy with the weight that I am (102 pounds), but I need to be more firm. Today will be three days in a row at the gym, after so long without going. I don't even want to leave my house, it is freezing out. I am going to brave it, must work to look and feel good right?

It's nice that you have hubby to go with, bet that makes you go more.

Try to stay warm. Wow 60's this weekend?

I'm back and want to go strong....

Started back to the gym today and plan on sticking with it.

I gained 3 pounds in the last month, but thats alright I enjoyed not counting and eating everything over the holidays. I know I can lose it quick.

Taking my grandson to Fla on the 22nd of this month, that was his birthday gift from me. So I have to look good in my bathing suit lol

Hello girls,

I see that I'm not the only one that hasn't been on. I hope I will hear from you both again. I have been crazy busy with the holidays and work has called me in so much, that I haven't had any time for myself.

I must be honest now, I have not weighed myself in weeks, and I haven't been counting calories either. I have been eating like a pig, so I think I am going to feel really bad when I step on the scale. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow, so I think I will wait until then to find out the damage.

I'll check back once in a while to see if you girls are ever coming back. I hope so, I'm going to need the support.

Did you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year? I hope so.

Hi girls. Weight was good today, staying around the same.

I don't know if you saw the weather up here on the news toda. A tree fell on my daughters car and she doesn't have any electricity. They are hoping to have the wires fixed by Monday. With no electricity that means no heat, so they are all at her sister in laws for the weekend. Wanted them here, but as long as they are safe I'm happy.

Very long and tireing day, so I am of to relax.

Hope all is o.k with your son Tammy and glad your eyes are doing better Leila.

If you don't hear from me this weekend it is because I have a ton to do tomorrow and I am working a 14 hour shift on Sunday,

Hate to say this, but I ate at Mcdonalds today. Bad choices, I had a handburger and a mcchicken sandwich. Just thought I would let someone know how very bad I was.

Got the tree today, I will let it fall tonight and decorate it tomorrow. Once the lights are on I get so excited like a kid, makes it feel like Christmas is really coming.

Does sound like you planned a lot for one weekend Leila, but it will all work out.

Hello ladies,

Been picking up extra shifts at work this week, hoping not to have to charge for Christmas this year. Been staying the same with the weight, doing good with my calories.

I must have done 12 hours of wrapping this week. Every time I say "that's it I'm not buying anymore", I end up in the store for one thing and come out with 5 bags lol It is so hard with the babies, so many cute things, I can't help but buy them. My family keeps laughing at me, when I say I'm done wrapping, because they know I keep buying more. I told my daughter she better not buy much for her boys, I think I bought everything you could think of.

So I'm off to shop again, but only for some of my patients. I work in a state run foster home with all chronically ill children, so I want to get them all something little. It's a lot of extra gifts to buy so I'm trying to think of something not so expensive, maybe scarfs and gloves.

Tammy get out there and get it done girl, how can you not be nervous it is already the 5th. I bet you will be wrapping on Christmas eve. On Christmas eve day I'm working from 9am until 1 pm, then having a house full of family at 4pm. I must be crazy, but I know I will manage. I want to go in that day because I won't be working Christmas, so I want to see all the kids. It really is a great place to work, very touching to see them smile, very hard lives they live.     

I'm sorry I'm all over the place here, I'm rushing to get out the door. I'm trying to decide when to get my tree, I want to get it now, but I don't feel like moving the furniture around yet. I have my nieces birthday party on Sunday, so maybe tomorrow I'll do the tree. Once I have the tree up, I get really into the Christmas spirit. It will be so much fun this year with 3 babies looking at the lights.

Leila I'm proud that you are still going to the gym, I'm going back in Jan. I know I keep saying I'm going back but I really mean it.

Tammy how is your back, any better yet? Hope it is much better. I think you better get someone to do your Christmas wrapping for you, my back is killing from that.

Wow I'm down 2 pounds from last week, think I was up 1 last weekso I loast that and another. That makes me happy, now I'll go buy the faster kids their gifts.

Hello, I gained a pound, bet it was all from yesterday. I ate so much and had some of everything and enjoyed it. Leila glad you did well.

Happy to hear that you had a nice Thanksgiving, I did as well. So nice to have all the family together, even more so with the two new babies. It was the first Thanksgiving for both of them, and it was a great one. It was so nice after eating and talking for hours, we sat around the fireplace and relaxed. We all have so much to be thankful for, life is good.

Tammy I hope you had a great Thanksgiving and that your back wasn't to bad.

Hey Tammy glad to hear your numbers are going down. Drinking a lot of water is very good for you, but wow I would be floating away with that much. I can understand how you ate the candy bar yourself, I probable would have done the same thing. Tell hubby if he wants to share your sickness, to take half of the back pain lol

Leila, how was your weekend?  Did you get any shopping done? Yesterday was the most boring day of my life. I really sat around and did nothing all day and night. Never left my house once, because I didn't want to deal with the freezing weather.

Today I have a million things to do, so I have to go out in the cold ugh!  I want to get everything I need to make things I will take to my brothers for Thanksgiving. I'm making Italian stuffed mushrooms and candies yams, don't know what else yet. I hope everyone likes the candies yams, since I can't really eat much they are like a million calories lol

Good morning!   I'm a pound heavier than last Friday, but still remain below my goal weight. How did you girls do this week?

I had a house full of company last night, all of my kids with their kids, my brother and his family and a cousin.  By the end of the night I don't think we had one person that didn't have baby spit-up on them. Believe it or not we actually had lots of laughs because of it. My daughter was holding my granddaughter (her niece) when she decided to spit up, down my daughters shirt (a lot). I was laughing and saying "good girl, you waited until Nonna gave you to Auntie". Not two minutes later my grandson covered the back or my hair with spit up, so my daughter was saying " Nice job Nate, you got Nonna back".  I know we are all crazy, but we found it funny.

Well today I have an empty house, so I will be wrapping more Christmas gifts and getting out the rest of the winter clothes. It is so cold out that it is painful, and it's only the end of November, I think it is going to be a long winter this year.

Tammy are you feeling any better? I hope things are at least going in the right direction. Feel free to come on an chat even if it is not about cc. If you look back, you will notice that Leila and I chat about everything.  It's nice to have outside support at times. Sometimes it can make us feel better, just knowing that others care. Or being able to just type thinks to get them off you chest. Poor Leila knows my life story, but she is always so supportive and understanding. Get better and if you get a chance let us know how you are feeling.

Leila I can't stand this cold weather. Yuck, I really hate it. I wish I was on a HOT beach right now, with the sun backing me lol   Hope you are happy with your weigh in this morning. I plan n getting a lot done this weekend and enjoying the nights. Starting next week I will be doing a 12 hour shift every weekend. (most of then on Saturdays but a couple of Sundays).  I really hate working weekends, but will deal with it in the winter. The pay is unbelievable and I'm not missing any fun outdoor activities. This past Summer was the first in a few years that I didn't work any weekends, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Can't jump on the back of the harley in this weather. so I won't feel like I'm missing much.

Leila I never listened to opera, but it sounds like you really enjoyed yourself. My new thing with my daughter has been going to musicals for the past few years. Ends up costing a few hundred dollars for the night so we only go a couple times a year.  I am Italian and love Italian music, so I bet I would like Italian opera as well. I'm still paying for my gym membership for nothing, I don't go at all. I paid for a years membership in May, and just about stopped going in September. It was worth it, even if I never go back, because I made it to my goal. I really wish I would get back into it, for health reasons and to stay firm. Glad to hear that you are still going, keep it up girl.

Tammy sorry that you are hurting, back pain really sucks. Is it from a passed injury? I'm glad that you are back on here and didn't give us up. Hope you feel much better soon, look forward to hearing from you again.

Hi Girls

I had a wonderful birthday that lasted 2 days. Sunday my son was home from college and my daughter and her family were here (My 2 grandsons). Then on Monday night my son, his girlfriend and my granddaughter were over.

Unfortunately  I got some really bad news yesterday. My doctors think I may have to start chemotherapy again. First will be a series  of many tests and then take it from there. Today I went and had a lot of blood work done and chest X-rays, when the results are back my nightmare will  begin.  It is really hitting me hard, I don't want my children to have to go through this again, and now I have the grandchildren to worry about. They are not old enough to really understand, but the 2 1/2 year old will certainly notice if Nonna loses all of her hair. Enough about that for now.

I have been doing good with counting the calories, but haven't really been exercising very much. I feel so strong and healthy, thank God I have been trying to live a healthier life since May.

I have some of my Christmas shopping done, both from stores and on-line shopping. Now I feel pressured to get it all out of the way soon, so maybe I will spend this weekend doing that.

Weather is cold here as well, and I don't like it. I wish I was on a tropical island for the whole winter lol

Sorry I'm all over the place here, I'm a bit stressed out. I will be on again soon, but for now I have to go make a ton of phone calls.

Hope you are both having a much better week than I am. Eat healthy and stay warm.

Hello, I lost almost a pound this week, but I think it was only because I have been so sick.  Big difference from you that had to eat right and exercise. Good job leila, I'm proud of you.

I hope you have lots of fun shopping and enjoy your mother in laws Birthday.

I am still sick, the antibiotics helped, but I seem to be getting worse again. Monday is my birthday and I think all of my kids are planning to come over tomorrow as a surprise. I guess If they do, I will have to stay out of bed and suck it up. My daughter works until 3:30 on Sunday, so I'll be able to lounge around all morning before taking my shower.

Thursday was the only day that I was a little better, I had all three kids here for the day, so I'm glad I had the one good day. My whole body hurts, my nose is runny then stuffy, I have a headache, and my chest is congested. Today is my last dose of the Z pack (antibiotic), so I hope it does me a lot of good.

Enough of me complaining, sorry about that. Weather here will be in the 60's today and tomorrow. I think later today I will go food shopping, just to get out and get some fresh air.

As soon as I am feeling better, I promise to be on more. Keep up the good work.

It is almost 4 am as I write this. I have been so sick for the last two days. I can not breath through my nose as I have a sinus infection. My throat and lungs are also hurting so bad. I started yesterday on antibiotics and medicated nasal spray, but they have not kicked in yet.  The doctor said I should be feeling much better in a couple of days, boy do I hope she is right.

I have been doing so good with my calories, then yesterday(Tues) I did awful. Would think that I would eat less because I was so sick, but for some reason I wanted everything bad last night(candy, cookies bread). I ended up at 300 calories over my limit, but felt like I needed it.

I hope your week is going better than mine so far. I guess I will try to get some sleep. Ever time I lie down my breathing is so bad I feel like I am going to choke, but I am so tired

So happy to hear your party was so much fun, and dancing is one of the best ways to burn calories. I will talk  to you soon, hope to be feeling much better after a couple more doses of antibiotics.

Happy Halloween Leila!

Gained a pound. Same old thing up one down one almost every week. I'm not upset, I'm still staying below my goal.

I hope you have a great time at the party tonight. Is the food like back home? Can't wait to hear about it.

I enjoy helping with the grandchildren.  They really  bring so much joy into my life. The 2  1/2 year old makes my laugh so much, he really has a wonderful personality.  He is the one that had three open heart surgeries,  so I am so thankful  every day to have him in our lives.  If you ever met him, you would never believe  that he had anything wrong with him.  He looks like the picture of health and is very smart.

They will be coming to my house tonight to go Trick-or- treating. He will be a  cowboy riding a pony and his baby brother a monkey. I think I'm looking forward to it as much as he is lol

Weatherman is saying won't be a bad night, maybe 50 degrees at sunset. So it least we won't be freezing.

Once again enjoy tonight, I bet it will be a lovely time out with your husband.

Tomorrow is my really long day, so you might not hear from me until Sunday. Hope your scale makes you smile today.

Hi Leila

Went to the gym on Sunday, I can't believe how out of shape I am from not going. I did weight training for 45 minutes and I was huffing and puffing after. Today my arms and shoulders hurt from two days ago. Have to keep it up, to get back to were I was. I want to go again today, but I am waiting for oil delivery. They said they will be here between 8am and 4 pm, so I might be home waiting all day. If they come early I will go to the gym after, if not I will do heavy work around the house. I have a tile kitchen floor, so I like to scrub it on my hands and knees once in a while.

Last night I went to the mall. I tried on about twenty pairs of jeans, not one fit right. I hate it because I thought now that I lost the weight I would be able to wear anything I want.

It is damp and gloomy out today, feels more like winter than fall. I did get a few really warm sweaters last night, so the top of me will look good at least lol

I'll let you know if I make it to the gym. Hope your week is going good.
