I would recommend Playa del Carmen.  It's just a couple hours south of Cancun, but it's so much nicer.  Less commercial and less Americanized.  And they do have all-inclusive resorts there.  It's absolutely beautiful.

About 10 years ago, my ex and our two kids had finished opening all our gifts.  While the kids were off enjoying their new toys, he came to me with an envelope and said he had one additional gift for me.  Inside the envelope were tickets for a week-long Caribbean cruise, something I'd wanted for a really long time.  What's so bad about this gift, you ask?  It was a cruise for three!  He'd be moving out while I was on vacation with the kids.  I threw the tickets in his face.  Bastard.

I'm mad at my husband because I have to find a second job to pay for my kids' college tuition, all the while he has a nice, shiny Corvette that costs over $400 a month just sitting in the garage because most days the weather isn't "just right" to drive the damn thing.  I know, it's not like they're his kids or anything, but it just pisses me off.

I feel a little better now.  I haven't even told him how I feel.  <sigh>

Just discovered peach-mango salsa.  Sweet and hot at the same time.  It rocks on grilled salmon.

We have a beautiful Himalayan named Ratface.  Her real name is Trinity, but DH started calling her Ratface and it just stuck.  Poor thing.  We also have a long-haired Calico named Lexie.  I've also had Bunny, Marshmallow, Cookie, Sophie, Mocha, Lucky, and Hershey.  Honestly, though, Ratface has become my favorite name.

I think dreaming is fascinating.   I've always wondered, though, what a blind person's dreams are like.  I mean, they can't dream "visually," can they?  So what do their dreams consist of?

I've been doing the FIRM since March, and I love it.  I've lost 12.5 pounds and over a dozen inches, as well as several body fat percentage points.  I highly recommend it.  It's fun and addictive, in addition to being a great workout.  I ended up adding several additional DVDs, though, so that I don't become bored.  I have about a dozen DVDs now that I cycle through, and I look forward to doing it every morning.

My stats are similar to yours.  I'm 5'1" and 126 pounds now.

Haven't heard anything from Aunt and Uncle, but hubby isn't sure what to think.  As he said, though, he doesn't like bullies, even when they don't realize they're being bullies.  I'm not so sure they didn't realize it.
