Name: Sarah I took a hiatus in November because I was having the MOST FRUSTRATING plateau. I am now under my plateau weight my almost a pound and it's the 170s for me this month. Want to be at 175 by New Year's Eve. Good luck to everyone this month and I hope you all reach your goals! |

Using caloriecounts "burn meter" tool I inputted your weight, height and age and it says that you burn about 1800 calories every day. In order to maintain your weight, you need to have no deficit every day - so you need to eat 1800 calories daily. This was at the 'light activity' setting, so if you find you are losing on 1800 calories a day, up your intake to 'moderate activity' level and eat 2000 calories daily. Hope that helps! |

My grandma died in April because of a stroke she had during a surgical procedure on her knee. She had a quintiple bypass, a back surgery and three knee surgeries within a few years and it was just more than her body could handle. These were all related to diet/weight related problems. She was not morbidly obese, but was always just overweight. At that point I realized I had to take better care of my weight, because it was just going up and up. |

I would just get the Bangers and Eggs and ask for fruit or toast instead of home fries. Have the eggs poached to avoid any butter/oil in the cooking process and you should be in great shape. Also, if you have willpower then order the Bangers and Eggs and have half the home fries (personally I have no willpower). Can you order a la carte? Often restaurants serve oatmeal and stuff on the side and don't list it with the entrees. Fruit, wheat toast and oatmeal is a pretty decent breakfast. |
