I went and saw Paranormal Activity (bad idea!) and it did creep me out that the girl and I have the same name! My fiance's mother passed away this past March and we thought maybe it was her in the house, but I talked to a priest and he said that it is too late, that if it were her it would have started almost instantly after she passed away? Not sure how true that is. But my fiance hasn't experienced anything weird. It has all been when I'm home alone or he is sleeping, and he doesn't really believe me which is annoying. I once saw a ghost in my parent's house when I was younger that nobody else saw, so maybe I am just more sensitive to these things than other people?

Wow adolphs, much scarier than what's happening to me! I had the same experience with my cat. We were sleeping on the bed when he sat up really fast, perked his ears up and tracked something across the room for a good 30 seconds. My cat has also stared at the door when I hear the banging, so I know I'm not just crazy! The other night when I was really scared, I kind of freaked out and started yelling at it, telling it that its not funny anymore and I want it to stop. It hasn't yet, but I think I will try talking to it more calmly. And I don't necessarily think it's a bad/evil spirit, I just don't want it here anymore! Luckily, my fiance and I are in the process of applying for a new apartment, so hopefully we will be approved and we can leave this place!

The Lounge why do/did or don't you want kids? Aug 02 2009

Since I was about 5 I knew I wanted to be a mother. I want everything that goes along with it, including pregnancy and labor. I think it is so beautiful. I am only 20, but I am engaged and we are getting married sometime within the next 2 years. We have decided to have kids in about 3-4 years (which I know is still somewhat young) but I know that I am ready to have children. Sometimes I don't even think I can wait that long! I don't know what it is, but my biological clock is ticking very strongly! haha. Luckily I found a man that also wants children fairly young! I have friends that don't want children at all and it seems kind of weird to me, but they probably look at me the same way, and think I'm a crazy baby lady :p

My name is Katie Brown, which is so boring! But my middle name is Lynea (La-nay) which I really love. The names I want for my children are Ava or Avery for a girl and Camdyn for a boy.

Oh, and I've dated a Canyon and Valley. Interesting names.

The Lounge Does an engagement really need a ring? Jun 19 2009

When my fiance proposed he didn't have a ring at the time. We later went and picked out a really simple, cheap one ( around $50). He is now saving up for a real one ( still only going to be about $500) But I do like having a ring. It definitely makes me feel like our engagement is legit, and I like wearing it knowing that it shows our commitment to one another.

First off, congrats on the weight loss!! I honestly think you look great. If you want to improve your shape, I would reccomend just toning up a little maybe, but weight wise, I don't think you need to lose anymore. You look very healthy and in great shape.

I get headaches from exercise quite often, especially if I run. I usually take 1 advil about a half hour before I hit the gym to prevent them. I don't know how good that is....but it's the only thing I can find that helps. Oh, and drink lots of water before, during and after!

I used to think that there were tiny men inside of us that pumped our hearts and made everything inside of us work. And I thought that they got there by going down manholes. I also thought that God was the clouds, so if there was a clear sky I thought God wasn't there.

I am also on Yasmin, and have been for about 4 years. I recently got diagnosed with Endometreosis and my doctor told me to skip the placebo pills. It actually worked in the opposite way and I spotted for about 3 weeks! On and off bleeding with some cramps. I got freaked out and stopped, but I'm sure after a month or so it would have been fine as kaff mentioned above. Just give it some time.

Health & Support HELP! endometriosis? Aug 01 2008

I also have endometriosis. I have sharp pains in my lower abdomen throughout the month (worse around time of my period) very bad cramps, back aches, muscle aches, headaches, I feel sick and often have diarrhea (sorry TMI). But everyone has different symptoms and it affects everyone differently. My doctor also put me on birth control pills and it has seemed to help a bit, but I am scheduled to have surgery soon. You should definitely get it checked out, because doing nothing about it can lead to infertility, and it will only get worse over time. Good luck!

Weight Loss Sudden Weight Gain and Other Issues - Please Serious answers only Jun 28 2008

I have Endomitreosis, and the same kind of thing has happened to me. I used to be about 120 lbs, and since I've had the issue I'm anywhere between 130-140, and I cant seem to lose the weight. It doesnt sound like thats what you have, unless you have some of these symptoms as well ( back pain, sharp pain in ovaries, migraines, diarreha, joint aches, heavy periods, fatigue, terrible cramps, vomitting) but it sounds like it may be something female related. You would probably be best off visiting your doctor, or maybe just getting a routine pap smear. Good luck!!

Weight Loss Are fluctuations noticeable? Jun 26 2008
16:19 (UTC)

I completely know what you mean. I can look @ my stomach in the mirror in the morning and say, "I'm going to weigh 131 this morning" just by looking at my tummy...and I'm almost always right! The only person that notices these small flucuations is my fiance, since he is the only one who sees me....well you know. But nobody else will notice it, I promise! Don't try to fret about those few small pounds. They are insignificant in the long run!

Wow I feel the exact same way. I have a 32" bust, 25" waist.....and 39" hips. I find that strength training only bulks them up, but cardio (bike, treadmill, elliptical) seems to help a little. But that will only help to an extent. No matter what we do, we will always have the pear shape....sigh.
