Welcome to the wonderful world of awkward conversations and strange people with even stranger quirks! (You do get some fantastic stories though!) Over the past year, I definitely had my fair share of first dates. I've actually found coffee shops to be the perfect low-pressure spot. They're: casual - no heels and comfy clothes (yay!) relaxed - weird date = out fast, awesome date = 4 hours at the same table without feeling guilty for taking up a waiter's table and cheap- no one feels bad if they end up not interested The key to not blowing your day is all in the choices. What are you ordering? I usually get either a black coffee or herbal tea, sometimes a small non-fat latte if I'm feeling crazy and could use the calcium |

When I started losing, my first goal was just to get in the 'normal' BMI range. As I get closer to a weight/body that I'm happy with (5'4", 135ish), I want my driver's license not to be lying to the world anymore (130) |

sugarcake, you're description of the yummy chocolate balls sounds a lot like tootsie rolls to me (chocolate and chewy...mmmmmm....). Maybe try those next time you get a hankering? They won't hurt your calories and fat nearly as much. |

To add on to the Jello pudding suggestion, I usually freeze mine. That way it takes longer to eat and keeps my hands occupied since you basically scrape off yummy shavings to eat. Also, because its so cold, it usually takes care of my ice cream cravings in this crazy, humid summer weather! |
