hi hi hi

Today was pretty good with the scale.  I'm down to 141.  That means I've lost 2.5 since last week.  I'm at 15 lbs lost now since May 12!  One more pound til I get my next mini-reward!  good luck ladies.

Hey all...unfortunately I have only lost a half pound since last week.  My weigh in weight is 143.5.  I was down to 143 a couple days ago.  Hopefully I'll have a better week this week.  Congrats singin'!  Two pounds rocks!

Yay for Thursday.......tomorrow is Friday!!  Woo hoo!  Well today I weighed in at 144!  I'm down 2.5 since last week and 12 since May 12.  Best of luck ladies!

Happy Thursday!  Ok, well today I'm at 147.  Only down 1 lb since last week.  2 days ago I weighed in at 146.5 but i've since started my cycle and last night i ate my weight in cereal :)  excuses excuses :)  Best of luck!

Wow cawilder, sounds like you have quite the week ahead of you, best of luck with ALL that!

Well I'm only down a 1/2 lb from last week.  I'm at 148.  I weighed in 2 days ago at 147.5 so boooo, doesn't my body recognize that I need to weigh in the lightest on our weigh in days???  :)

happy weigh in day (kinda)...I'm only at 149.5 which means I have only lost a half pound in a week.  I'm SO bummed.  SO bummed.  Anyways, I've lost 6.5 since starting.  Hope your week went better than mine.

Health & Support Preparing for a colonoscopy - low residue diet May 30 2008

I too had a colonoscopy...just about 6 months ago I think.  The prep is definitely the worst part.  It was great in one respect.  I splurged and had my favorite Panda Express meal the night before I started my "prep" for it.  It was all going to go through my system anyways (or so I convinced myself).  I wasn't in any pain ever related to the procedure...I was a little bloated afterwards, but that's about all.  Sorry I don't really have any food suggestions for you!  Hope it goes well.

Happy Thursday!  I weighed in at 150 today, but on the 27th I was at 149.5...ugh so again, that's a bummer.  At 150 I'm down 2 lbs from last week and down 6 lbs from when I started.  Hopefully next week I'll be out of the 150s for good!  GOOD LUCK!

I'm so mad at myself. :( I have already had 1052 calories and it is 1:17pm. I definitely won't be under my calorie goal of 1200/day today. I just went to Jimmy Johns (sub shop) and got a sub w/o cheese and it still had 700 calories in it. I want to cry. I really do.

is it the carbonation that makes you bloat?  when you gained weight it was water weight right?  :-/

Happy weigh in day! I weighed in at 152 today. Which is good but also a bummer b/c I weighed in at 151.5 yesterday. But my official weigh in is 152. That's down 3lbs since last Thursday and down 4 lbs since I started. Good luck ladies!

Thanks for the help and insight.  I appreciate it!  Here's something that opened my eyes yesterday...I looked up some of the things I get when I go out to eat (read:  got when I went out to eat).

  • Chili's Chicken Crispers--1880 calories, 130 g of fat, 23 g of saturated fat, 133g of carbs, 67g of protein (the one good point), 3040 mg of sodium!!!

 

  • Panda Express--Chow Mein and 2 helpings of Orange Chicken...Chow Mein--390 calories, 12 g of fat, 1020 mg sodium, 59g carbs, 11 g of protein...Orange Chicken (2 Helpings)--1000 calories, 56 g of fat, 11 g saturated fat, 200mg cholesterol, 1620 mg sodium, 84g carbs, 46 g protien.

 

  • Red Robin Cheeseburger, Fries and 1/2 Chocolate Malt--Cheeseburger--699 calories, 37g fat, 47 carbs, 46g protein.  No info on the other two.

Here's one I was pleasantly surprised about:

  • McAllister's Deli--Chicken Tortilla Soup with Steamed Vegetables...Soup--150 cal for 8oz, 6g fat, 3g saturated fat, 30mg cholesterol, 1470 mg sodium (ok so it's really high in sodium), 13g carbs, 10 g protein.  Veggies...43 cal, 52mg sodium, 7g carbs, 1g protein.

MAKES YOU THINK!  I probably will never get any of those top 3 again, Panda Express will be the hardest for me to stay away from!

Definitely opened my eyes.  Maybe you'd like to post somethings that you get when you go out to eat and maybe then we can see that what we know "isn't really good for us" is actually terrible for us!  Just a lil motivation goin into the weekend!

ok clarification...i want to know if it is realistic for my fat and protein to be over 50% compared to my carbs.  ok, basically i'm freaking that i'm eating entirely too many carbs and that will prevent my weight loss!

Question for you all...what is generally your percentage of fat, protein and carbs per day?  I'm not a huge meat eater so I'm having a ton of carbs and I wanted to know if it was realistic for a girl who basically only eats chicken and hamburger (as meat) to try to get 50% protein per day?!?  Please let me know!

I weighted in today as well and am up one pound.  Boo.  I'm at 155 after being at 154 yesterday...but then again today is only day 3 for me.  So far today I've had:

*Carnation Instant Breakfast Shake (240 calories).
*5/8 cup low fat cottege cheese (113 calories).
*Homemade chicken noodle soup (121 calories)...uh, this is a best guess on this one.  It is really high in sodium tho :(
*Diet Coke --32 oz.  I let myself have soda one day/week.

How are you ladies doin?
