| Weight Loss | 1300 calories... Need info on increasing my intake | May 16 2008 18:16 (UTC) |

That is awesome that you have lost 10 pounds- great job!! I would recommend that you eat more calories though. You don't want your body to go into"starvation mode", because than your body starts to eat your muscle, and you will slow way down in your weight lose. A good amount to lose is 1 to 2 pounds a week, if your are losing anymore than that then you aren't eating enough food. Its exciting to see that scale drop, but you don't want to end up with all of it back plus more. You should find out how much you should be consuming and stick with that. It will be a little frustrating at first because you aren't losing as quickly, but you will keep that weight off and that is the goal- good luck!! ; ) |

| Weight Loss | 700 calories per day okay? | May 16 2008 15:39 (UTC) |

700 is way too low. Your body will start eating muscle and it will be even harder to lose the weight. You need to ask someone how many calories to intake a day, and stick with it. You might have lost a lot of weight in a short time, but you will gain it all back plus more if you don't start eating right!! It sucks and it will take longer, but it will stay off and you won't have to worry about it coming back. |

| Weight Loss | Frustrated, very very Frustrated! | May 16 2008 15:34 (UTC) |

That is really frustrating.... The best advice I can give is to make sure you are eating enough food. People think that not eating food will help you lose the weight, and it will for a while, but after that your body starts eating muscle, and muscle is sooo important for weight lose. It helps you burn more calories throughtout the day, as well as at rest. You should never go under 1500 calories, and to be honest that is low. Just don't give up!! Take care!! |

If you are looking to lose fat in your lower stomach the ball is the best thing to use. If you get your core in shape than the rest falls into place. I recommend Core Secrets. It is a great way of targeting all those areas, and it really helps strengthen your core muscle. In order to do proper form you need to go to a gym or ask someone to show you. You have to be careful because you can really hurt yourself. All of those exercises are mainly for your lower body. Squats are good for your butt; as well as lounges dead lifts also helps strengthen your core too. |
