jaefuma, what you said sums up almost EXACTLY how I feel right now :c

I was doing so great until last week, where i gained back half the weight i had lost. I guess there's nothing left to do except pick myself up and start fresh on monday. As for you, I am so terribly sorry. Once you start losing weight and seeing results everything will be fine. I know this sounds cliche, but stay positive and never give up!! Good luck~

I'm sorry about your binge, sunshine_smile, and I can relate. I overate yesterday and I still feel awful about it. I went on the scale this morning and it says I gained 4 pounds! Is one bad day going to ruin everything else I've done all week?

15lbs: lol I want new jeans too! grey skinny jeans, more specifically.

Hey, don't listen to what some person called you. You are what you decide to be; no one else can make that decision for you. As for defining Good Girls and Bad Girls, I think that is merely a matter of opinion. ...Personally, I'm kind of in between good and bad... lol

Thats funny, I sort of have had the some problems. But anyways, you should really try to aim for 1000 calories at least. Eating lots of small snacks throughout the day will make you feel less full and is also healthier (instead of, say, eating 2 big meals and starving for the rest of the day).

I don't really know about "starvation mode", but I've heard of it. Just don't worry as long as you get your 1000 calories. Also, you may not feel hungry, but eat anyways, especially if you are feeling really tired, dizzy, light headed, etc.

Good luck! ;)

Maintaining Pop Tarts = Evils...but I still get an A-..really? May 18 2008
18:40 (UTC)

Hey, don't feel bad about have a few treats once in a while!  Unless you're eating treats all the time and eating more than 2000 calories  (which it doesn't sound like you are) you will not gain weight. So don't worry about how healthy the poptarts are; we are only human! We all can't eat healthy food 110% of the time, and unhealthy food (in moderation) may actually help your cravings once in a while.

In fact, they actually do have a healthy version of poptarts. They are called Organic Toaster Pastries, and I love 'em! ...Well, you are not a big poptart fan anyways, so nevermind...

Young Calorie Counters Anorexic? May 18 2008

Hey. I have been recently recovering from anorexia and hyperthyroid issues, and let me tell you, that being anorexic is gruesome and brutal. You feel hungry, deprived, and extremely tired. And on top of that, anorexia takes over your mind; even after you reach your weightloss goal, it is still not enough. You still feel fat. It's never, ever enough until its too late. By then, (hopefully) everyone that cares about you will be very worried (which is inevitable, and very annoying). Then, what happens next? Either you die of starvation, or gain weight again and be unhappy with yourself all over again. My advice is to consult with a doctor or a dietition and lose weight in a safe manner. But then again, it's your life; you can f*** up your relationship with food if you want to.

If you are used to eating, say, 3500 calories, and then you start eating 1000 calories each day, then yeah. You are going to feel hungry. Thats why you should decrease your number of calories slowly. Once your body gets used to eating a healthy amount each day, you will not feel as hungry. C:

Hmm... If my reward would be anything, it would be a super-awesome-mega-shopping spree! It would be wonderful to buy a ton of clothes and feel good (and not to mention look good!) in them.

Honestly, I would have nobody notice that I've lost weight at all.

Weight Loss water retention May 18 2008
02:48 (UTC)

It mostly depends when you weigh yourself; if you weigh yourself after eating a large meal, you are obviously gonna weigh more than if you weigh yourself first thing in the morning before breakfast. Some of it might also be water weight. If it keeps increasing (not coming back down to 111) and you are positive that you are eating the same, there is a possiblity that you have a problem with your thyroid -- it is a gland that produces hormones, and if the balance of things is disturbed, it can make you gain or lose weight dramatically, no matter how much you eat. You may want to consult your doctor if you think you have a thyroid issue.
