milk is great before bed because the main type of protein in milk is casein, which is a slow digesting protein and should stay with you through the night |

you can train your abs or calves more often than other muscle groups because of the type of muscle fiber, but i wouldn't go more than every other day. i dont think you'd be ruining your abs, but you could be slowing down your progress by overtraining them. |

i always put a tablespoon of peanut butter and half a banana...sounds weird but it's good. i've used raisins too, a little lower on the calories than the pb/banana combo. |

that looks pretty good to me maybe just a little more than i usually do for weights. i try get about 4-6 exercises (12-20 sets) per workout, doing the last 2 sets of each exercise to failure...i would personally make sure to get some incline presses in on your chest day, maybe take out one of the dips, and i'd save flyes for your last exercise on chest day so you can get a good pump and stretch before you finish up. i'm the same way on the legs too...gotta get my cardio in! |

just my 2 cents...i like to have around 500-600 per day and at least one day where i eat my maintence level to keep my metabolism up. you could call it a cheat day, buy doesn't have to be junk...just a little more food than usual. |

i dont understand the bad rap that peanut butter gets...yeah it's high in fat, but hardly any saturated fat. you gotta get your fats for the day and that's definately one of the better places to get it if you dont go crazy with it and stay within your macros for the day....and to answer the post, ice cream, cheesecake, cookies |

dont get too worked up about a slip up. if you're eating really strict, the "cheat day" can really help boost your metabolism and wont let your body get comfortable with the same low amount of calories. Just realize your mistake, call it a cheat day and dont let it happen for another week or more. The days that you do slip up and want to do something about it...check the caloric value and do that amount in cardio. |

i honestly wouldn't get stressed out with the website's grading system. Although it is a good reference point it seems that there are foods that get a bad grade that i definately dont agree with. just an example peanut butter, great source for good fats, very low in sat fats. you look like youre eating good i'd just keep up the hard work...you're definately light years ahead of the rest of America! |
