Help aaaargh
i need to be reassured i have not screwed up!, i know i ain't, but i need telling i think. if that makes sense. i started my programme on 28th May and have thus far lost 10 pounds. but today i have been very down after my relationship ended, and as alcoholic in recovery i knew all the dangers that were lurking. i tell myself that at times of great stress i need choose a bar of chocolate over a drink every time, and thats what i did, big time. now i feel crap about. i can be a bit obsessive over figures and never going below A on analysis has become a big thing. anyway to get the point, my day will be over in two hours and at present my calories eaten are a huge 3100. now i have cycled around 12 km today as well as some stationary biking and my Burn meter gives me 3620 by end of day. so its probably more about my "head" saying i have failed, than the figures. so really i need a bit of reassurance i guess. thanks guys a disheartened but still sober Geoff UK |

Hi. this weeks loss is 2 pound, making total of 9 pound in first two weeks. i mentioned on weeks 2 thread that i was due to weigh in at my local pharmicists but ther scales were out of commission. this figure was the result of using others scales, so once i the pharmacy scales are fixed i will check again |

well guys, a slight problem here as the scales i use at the Pharmacy are out of action! so i weighed on the local family centre set as i know they are very nearly the same readings. i have posted a loss of 2 more pound, but will weigh again once the scales are repaired as i prefer to use the same scales. anyway as it stands that 9 pounds so am very happy |

hi all, well its only 24 hours till i jump on the scales here in UK. am hopeful i will follow last weeks 7 pound with a couple of pound more, but you never know, as far as i can tell ive done very little different to wek one, so awaiting weigh in with interest. trying to resist the temptation to pop int chemista and weigh today, mainly because ive had a fair bit to eat and drink already today! well, have a good day all of you Geoff |

feels about the same for me i think, though mentally i am really positive about the long term success of this attempt. today bought a heart rate monitor to use with exercise bike so i reckon thats showing keeness lol, especially given the state of my bank balance!! am looking forward to next tuesday and though i would never expect 7 more to go, i'd take 1-2 happily |

Hi everyone, i thought this would bring a smile to your faces, trust me this was exactly how it was said. i was chatting with a female friend who wanted to lose weight. i recommended calourie-count and explained it in depth...she looked at me and said "What! you mean you actually weigh what you eat?, sod that i want a way where i dont have too watch how much, or WHAT i eat" i suggested that maybe given that she didnt fancy actually putting any work into it she maybe go to Lakeland revival and seek i quick fix. after all if she prayed to win the lottery, God would still expect her to meet him half way and at least buy a ticket. bless her Good luck for all on our second week Monty (geoff) |

WOW! i weighed yesterday, late in the day and had lost a few pound in first 6 days, but today as its officially end of Week One i weighed first thing, same scales at local chemist. result is i am well happy, despite being unable to do mutch exercise as on crutches i managed a week of A's on the analysis and was within the calories allowed per day without starving myself. result was i losr 7pound or as we anglo-saxons would say half a stone lol Geoff |
