Eirie how old are you? Judging by your posts I venture a guess a teenager or a kid. In this case you should be eating much more then just a thousand calories a day. A bare minimum for a middle age, sedentary woman is 1200. For someone who is younger it is much higher. These bingies are probably triggered by you not eating enough.

thank you all for your advise, maybe your right. i will try to eat a bigger lunch or dinner and maybe this will help my evening cravings. i have just joined a gym so will prob need to consume a few more calories during the day any way?

thanks bellylaugh57, i really have to get my head around just not piggin out!! i still live at home, and we just found out the other week my dad has cancer, which im dealin with by not dealin with, but my mam is bringin hme lots of sugary chocolate snackes because apparently its what my dad needs, im im eatin sum, and i never would have, i know they will be in the house for the next few months, and i dont know how to stop myself from diggin in

thanks for all your responses. yeah, my sleeping patterns still arent all that great! i work alot of 12 hour shifts at a desk and computer, so i guess i dont get to be that active during the day, and by the time i get home, it doesnt feel like it shud be bed time if that makes sence. maybe ill try eat a slightly larger lunch and as you said a light snack before bed to keep me from stuffing my face. thanksSmile

yeah, its horrible!! i gain a few pounds, which i dont mind so much, my stomach goes huge too tho!!! big enough for my pants to feel uncomfortable!!! thats what bothers me

my boyfriends the same as you, wont touch vegetables, but i got him to try some stir fried!! a bit of broccoli, baby carrots, red and green peppers, peas, in a wok with a bit of soy sauce!!! delicious!!

im 5'8 and 131. ive a small to medium frame. i dont understand american sizes, but id be a uk size 10 (27-28 inch waist)

hey, i dnt really have any words of wisdom, but im in the EXACT same situation as you!! i lost just over ten ponds and since gettin back into work and that, i cant get motivated, and its the evenings that i binge too after being great all day!!

im sorry thats no help to you, but i thought id join in on this post so i could read your replies too, im starting to get very down about this whole eating crap!!

... it's not silly at all. A calorie is a calorie. 1800 calories of yorkie bars = 1800 calories of apples.

 yes, a calorie is a calorie, if you actually read my post ,i said that 336 calories of yorkie bar = 336 calories of sandwich.  my point was, it takes more than calories to gain or loose weight. if your watching your figure, are you going to choose something with 20 grams of fat or 5 grams of fat??!

i dont think fizzy drinks like coke that make me gain weight!! but they make me look and fel like i have becaus emy stomach just bloats out!! that would be my problem!! i also read somewhere that the artificial sweetners that go into sugar free things, is actually harder work on your body to digest or something like that!! i cant quote it exactly, but apparently sugar free things are just as bad for you, but in different ways!! i guess other than things with natural sugr?

im not sure, ill look that one up

its the easiest thing ever!!

whisk up an egg with a fork, and add a drop of milk and a pinch of salt.

pour this onto a plate, dip your bread in on both sides, and stick on a frying pan!! you shud get about 2 slices of bread out of a one egg mixture! its so simple! the only thing is, i tried it using brown bread and i didnt like it, i only liked it with white bread, but i guess everyones different!!

also, im a very plain eater, so i would just at 2 slices of this on its own, but i guess you cud eat it with a salad or rashers or any of that kind of thing!!

im the same!! im quite a fussy eater, so i eat pretty much the same thing every day!! ive been in a plateau for weeks and weeks, and ive about 5 lbs left to loose! ive been told that it helps to vary your diet, but im not too sure why?! sorry im not any help, but im deffinately in the same situation!

im the opposite!! my appatite is gone for the week before and the week during mine, and i dnt eat much at all, but the week after, its bigger, i guess im catchin up on nt eatin too much before?

my stomach still goes huge tho even tho i dnt eat that much

thats crazy!!!

ive been to america a few times, (im from ireland) and i just cant get over the portion sizes over there!! no exageration, in fast food places (mcdonalds etc) our large drinks, are the same size as your small ones! also, i ordered french toast for breakfast one morning, because id find pancakes too sweet for breakfast (and no meat is as good as the one your used to at home), and they made the french toast with cinnomen and sugar!!! its supposed to be a savoury dish!!

im trying to find that everywhere too!! the packet is written in chinese!!

this site says 143 or somethin, that seems very low!! but when you think about it, theres actually nothing in them! its a few little noodles and a powder flavour! so i deffinatley reckon, its closer to "under 300" than it is to "up to "700"

i know that wasnt to helpful! also, i dnt think the koka noodles are particularly bad for you, they just arent really doin anythin good for you. all they have is a few carbs really. no fat or any of the other stuff.

im in!!! have been bout 130, but gained a few ponds in the last few days, so im about 133 or so now!! i want to get down to 120-125!!!!

i think ill do my weigh ins on a wednesday, mondays far to close to the weekends!! haha

hahah!! im sure youd have to dust off the excersice bike too!! ive so many "fitness things" under my bed, that i used for like 3 days after i got them!! i did about 20 mins on the wii yesterday, and my legs are killin me today!! try the lunges in the muscle section!! and i unlocked a step arobics where the remote clicks and talks to you so you can turn on the telly and the game continues!! clever!!

all i can say is well done for stopping after 6 of them, id have had well more!! haha!!

hope tomorrow goes well

hey zulupomm!! thanks for the reply!! im the same, i cant get motivated at the moment!!! i had been doing light weights and light cardio, but it was keepin me feeling great, but am just findin it really hard to get back into it!! its been about 3 weeks!! woops!! im eating about 1200 cals, depending on the day, but most days!!! i just went to see mama mia, and ate about 1200 cals of pick and mix!!hahaUndecided tomorow, deffinately!! im thinkin an hour on the wii fit in the mornin, work my way back up to it, instead of jumping strait in the deep end!
