my scale is definately off, lol. saturday morning it said 183.5, then sunday morning it said 182.0 but either way it's under 185! :]

i've been running and lifting weights everyday after school to get ready for winter track, and hopefully all of this pays off again! i ate a bagel for lunch all this week, because we're having a family crisis and no one has time to go out and buy groceries or anything. but i still lost weight somehow

i think the lunches are healthy, but they dont keep me full that's for sure. i'm always still hungry afterwards. now that the fall drama is over everything should be easier, especially once winter track starts. then i'm forced to workout 6 days a week!

185... *sigh*

but it's okay, i'm gonna start working out after school this week. and i started making my own lunch- a ham and swiss cheese sandwich on whole wheat bread and a 100 calorie yogurt. plus i usually drink water throughout the day but this whole week i've been busy staying at the school until 8 for the fall drama so i just ate what they gave me (pizza, chinese, sandwiches..)

well, i believe i'm at 182 now. i went to the doctor for my sports physical on thursday and they weighed me during mid-day and it was at 183 so i'm guessing i'm a pound or 2 lighter than that.

this week was not great. we celebrated 3 birthdays which equals 3 cakes. so my eating habits weren't the best, but my mom went out and bought plenty of fruit and lunch meat and yogurt and wheat bread, so i should be good this week! not sure about working out again though, because of the fall play like i said. but hopefully by next week i'll be running and doing drills again

well i used to bring salad and only salad too, but i'm an extremely picky eater. it would only consist of lettuce and grilled chicken plus italian dressing. i don't like much else :P i could try the sandwich thing, especially because the deli bar in my school is terrible, the lunch meat is disgustingly flimsy and plastic-like. as for eating after school, i should try to buy more fruit i guess or just have a small bowl of cereal (special k <3)

i know i'm a bit late but can i still join? haven't been on caloriecount in awhile but i'm really hoping to get back into shape and lose the weight i want to!

i'm 15, about 178 pounds, 5'7ish. i was at a huge plateau, stuck at 172 for almost a year and just recently i started gaining weight again :( my short term goal would be to weigh 160 by February, and my long-term would be 145 by summer time!

i do track & field for my high school, and i need to get into shape this month for the season. my other goal is to improve my shotput throw. unfortunately, i dont have time to work out for the next 2 weeks due to practice for the fall play (i'm doing stage crew) but i would like to get back onto a diet plan.

my problem with eating would be lunches, because i usually eat a bagel. i really dont like salad, and even if i eat something light i end up buying more food from the vending machine (obviously i can't resist temptation) and when i get home from school i end up eating out of boredom.

i'm really hoping this group can help me stay motivated :D

i'll join! :D

i'm 14 turning 15 in May and a freshman in high school.

i'm 5'7 and currently weigh 174 pounds. my first goal is to get down to 160, then my final goal is 145.

i usually don't exercise much, but i'm going for a 2 mile run this morning with my friend and her mom. and my friend is making me join spring track with her so hopefully that'll help a lot!

other goals:

  • stick with spring track and not quit
  • eat a better lunch and dinner
  • start counting calories again instead of estimating
  • look good in a bathingsuit in summer
  • be able to run a mile in under 10 minutes
  • stop eating when i'm bored!

i weighed myself before and i was at 173, which is hard to believe because of all the junk i've been eating :P guess i'll wait until next week to see if it's true or not

didn't lose any this week. still at 175, which is understandable. my eating habits were very poor :/ + lack of exercise.

gonna do better next week!

i'm 5'7 175lbs. i wear a size 13/14.

i tried on an old pair of jeans size 15 this morning and i was amazed at myself! they were so loose when they used to be so tight when i was around 194..

my first goal is to hit 160, and depending on how i feel about myself i might try 145.

unrealistic for me would be an actor or model.. i'd love to do both, but i suck at acting and being infront of a large group of people :P

i've always wanted to be a phsychiatrist or phsychologist or some sort of counselor.. i want to help people improve their lives. only, right now i'm sorta not sure.. i'm only a freshman in high school, but lately i've been thinking i might end up doing something with math (but not science!) since it's my best subject and i like it :]

bails_babe- sorry to hear about the beak up! and atleast you only gained 2 pounds. i like to think i'm reaching my goals, but at a very very slow rate.

i need to start working out after school again. i feel like i've been inactive for the last 2 weeks because i haven't had gym for a full period in 2 weeks because of spirit week and we had thursday and friday off from school this week because of teacher conventions..

well, he sorta pushes me to try harder and whenever i feel bad about myself (low self-esteem) he's always there to make me think positive. he doesn't judge me either.. it's a really weird relationship though.. can't exactly explain it lol

pengy- don't get too disappointed if you've gained.. i know how it feels to gain over vacation because you feel like you don't have to do anything, i mean, it IS a time to relax and take it easy. i always end up eating too much junk food when i go on vacation :/

i have the same problem with my family! there's a little bowl of fun sized reeses and kitkats, and i can't help but eat them! at first it was hard to avoid eating them, but lately i've been keeping it down to maybe 2 a day.. i didn't have any today!

just keep yourself busy, or ask for your family to like hide the stuff so you don't have to see it everytime you walk into whichever room they keep it in. there's really nothing else you could do with poor will power.. ://

taykaybelle, i think that's happening with me too! i may not be losing a lot of weight, but my jeans are fitting looser than when i first bought them, and they shrank too!

i did good with exercise this week, poor eatin habits though. my friends and i decided to keep it simple for halloween. we're all being M&Ms. just a bright colored shirt with an M and all white :P

well, i'm starting to eat yogurt parfeits in school with a water. gym class is TORTURE. we have to run 8 minutes on the track, then we go inside and do crunches, push ups, planks, and these squat count things. we started yesterday, and i'm achy all over now! my gym teacher said everyone will be able to do atleast 50 pushups by the end of the marking period. that'll be a miracle for me :P

i've been sick since saturday, and i left school early yesterday and stayed home today. everytime i cough, my stomach hurts because of the pain from the crunches in gym class :P i'm hoping i really do improve with my fitness!

how's school going for everyone else??

don't think that's right, since yesterday i was 185.4 :P

i start school on monday! i can't wait, because i found out during gym instead of doing the lame group games you can ask the teach to use the workout room! so i figure i'll be in there 2-3 times a week working out :] plus an after school teen fitness program on wednesdays, and i'm going to join about 3 clubs for school! yay :]
