First of all - YOU ARE NOT FAT! Don't ever say that to yourself. I don't think 140lb is fat at any height. I'm 150 and though I'm working on losing weight and getting fitter, I am absolutely not fat! I'm just not where I want to be. How tall are you?

Don't get yourself down before you've even started mate :) cheer up! You're not a superhero, you're going to "get stuck" "trip over" "fail" - so learn from those "failures" and don't do it again! Nothing is a failure because it always teaches you something. Remember - you can't do it all at once.

Just get up each day with a goal: say "okay today I am not going to take the elevator/escalator - or I'm going to walk up it" maybe "today i'm not going to go over this amount of calories" "today I'm going to get up and go for a walk" - before you know it you'll be doing all of those things all the time without even thinking about it.

Stretchmarks are just a part of being a woman (man I sound old) - everyone gets them, I don't think I know anyone with a "body" who doesn't have at least one. They're caused by rapid growth at puberty or during pregnancy. Men don't generally get them as they have more collagen in their skin. It's normal. AND no one can see them except when you're in a bikini, and trust me, when you're at the beach - everyone's too busy worrying about their own to look at yours anyway.

Surround yourself with people who make you feel good. My best friend used to pick on my butt all the time, and although I took it well, and it was all a joke, I realised later that it was a factor, in my emotional eating which made me gain some weight. An exercise/weight loss buddy is always good as well, you can help each other stay on track. My housemate is great at keeping me accountable. Ok hope this massive slab helps! Oh - and ranting is good for you :)

The reason they say don't eat fruit after a meal is because one would assume most meals contain vegetables. Eating fruit and vegies together can make you bloated and fart alot. Especially after legumes.

Goal: My mum and my sister are coming to visit me July 2nd and we're going for a beach holiday - I want to look fantastic in that bikini! I'm aiming for up to 10lb/4.5kg for June, because I realise any more is not healthy. :)
