I did the first workout today too! I'm glad to hear that some of you were successful with this! I would love to be able to run for a half hour straight through. Do you run on the treadmill or outside? |

Don't laugh, but I am loving Slim Fast shakes for breakfast! The one in the can is gross. I buy the powder, and mix it in the blender. You need ice cubes to make it frothy. That makes a big difference. Chocolate Royale flavor. I swear, it tastes like its bad for you! Not like a real ice cream shakes, but good! It takes less than a minute. |

Love love love Bethenny and the whole housewives show. I just read this book yesterday at the beach, while contemplating my fat thighs. She really makes a lot of sense, and it seems really do-able. The most important points for me personally dealt with portion control. She basically says you can eat any food you want, as long as you each only a little of it, and if you really want it. (It has a lot to do with the European way of eating.) If you do make the choice to eat it, you have to balance out for this choice over the course of the day. She tells you to fill up on salad and other filling, fiber-rich foods before eating the more tempting foods, so that you can resist eating the whole thing. Portion control, conscious choices, conscious eating. The recipes that conclude each chapter look amazing. Definitely going to try some. Bethenny's body is out of control. Seriously. I would take her advise whether or not she was a chef, because her method obviously works. |

Thanks for your replies. I know my body has the potential to be smaller, since I was between 112 and 115 only 2-3 years ago. Could age be creeping in since hitting the big 3-0??? Oh my god! Scary thought! Another thing is, it's not that I have lost weight to get to this point, and this is where my weight loss slows down. It's not a weight loss plataeu (sp?) I just can't lose weight any more! So frustrated. Eating more sounds a little scary, but I guess it may work. |

| I don't know if this is what you are talking about, but I take one-a-day weight smart. I don't find that I amlosing a ton of weight from it, but it does give me a lot more energy (has caffeine and other added ingredients). So when I go to the gym, I work out better/longer | |||

I might have sounded like I want a dog that's nearly catatonic or something... hahah. But I just mean I don't want a hyper crazy type. My mother in law's bichon comes over all the time and she is waaaayy too much to handle... Exercising it is fine...I would love to do that. Maybe I will check out the dog shelter. Did you see Oprah's puppy mill show? Someone told me that malteses are relatively quiet dogs. Anyone have any experience with them? |
