Actually, frequent urination IS a symptom of early pregnancy.  Something to do with hormones and increased blood flow to the uterus and kidney excretions.  Frequent urination is most common during the 1st and 3rd trimester.

Next year, ask your veterinarian for a sedative that you can give at home. You may want an extra one for New Year's as well.

Thanks, it's been a little over a year since I started.  It hasn't been easy, there have been a lot of ups and downs.  I've managed to keep my eat calories the same by upping my excersize as my weight has gone down.  Weight loss can be frustrating at times.  Some weeks you can lose 1 or 2 lbs and then go weeks before another loss.  You need to be patient and stick to your regimine and the loss will eventually come. Good luck!

Good job on your initial weight loss!  It sounds like you are not eating enough.  Because of your starting weight and excersize level you really should aim for 1800-2000.  If your deficit is too high then your metabolism will slow down to compensate.  You're going to have to lower your daily calories as you lose weight and get closer to your goal weight so why start out so low (1500) now? I started out at 288 lbs and eating 1800 calories a day and I'm currently down to 194 lbs and I still eat 1800 and am still losing.  I walk 4-6 miles 6 days a week for excersize.  Try increasing your calories!

I've recently rediscovered puffed wheat cereal ( I used to eat it as a kid!).  One cup is only 70 calories so you can have a huge bowl of it, skim milk, splenda and a sliced banana in it for about 300 calories.  YUM!  Oh yeah, it's cheap too, about $1 a bag.

I make these every weekend, my son and I LOVE them!

Whole-Wheat Buttermilk Pancakes

3/4 cup white flour
3/4 cup wheat flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 cup lowfat buttermilk
1/2 cup skim milk

In a medium bowl wisk together flours, baking powder, baking soda and salt.  In a seperate bowl stir together eggs, buttermilk and milk.  Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix gently until just moistened.  Overmixing will result in a tough texture.  Cook pancakes as usual using a 1/4 cup measuring cup to make 12 equal portions.  Each pancake is 100 calories.

I make a single serving of the famous "diet coke cake" all the time.  You take 1/12 package of boxed cake mix (43 grams-heres where a food scale comes in handy) and mix in 2 Tbs. any flavor diet pop.  I mix this in a small ramikin/custard dish and microwave on high for 45-50 seconds.  A dollop of fat free cool whip and voila!

Try the sorbets, they're really good and only 250 calories for the "love it" size without a mixin.  Or nix the coupon and get a "like it" size regular ice cream without the mixin.  In either case make sure you ENJOY your treat tonight!
