Fruit is good for you!!! Depending on how many calories per day you are eating there is an appropriate amount of fruit you need to eat....If you're eating 15 pieces of fruit a day, then yes, that is a little too much fruit sugar. But if you eat the proper amount within your caloric needs that is 100% healthy. Fruit has soooo many vitamins and minerals that are healthy for you, plus it's delicious.

Thank you so much everyone for the advice. I've really taken it to heart. I'm keeping myself busy by taking classes at my gym (which are helping keep my mind off him and getting my butt in shape), working a little bit more, spending time with my friends and family, and i've also made an appointment to get my hair cut and lightened a little bit and i'm definately gonna do a little bit of shopping before I go on vacation in two weeks!!!! So i'm really really trying to face my feelings head on and deal with this and move on. Thank you so much!

I struggled with the same thing..my family would order a huge pizza with all the add-ons and i'd be going crazy. Then my mom and I started making our own whole-wheat veggie pizzas (at first I was like....ew). Bit then the first one that I made came out really really good and I love em. We use whole wheat pizza dough from the grocery store, tomatos, broccoli, peppers, and low-fat cheese (used sparingly) and they always come out so tastey!!! And they can be really fun to make!

I think that might be what's happening to me. I focus on food a lot and I totally obsess over it so I might be hurting myself by doing that. I kinda noticed since I started CC I've been thinking about food a lot more than I ever have so maybe it's not for me...at least not for now. I'm gonna try just listening to my stomach and go by that.

Swimming is a great exercise, I was a competitive swimmer for 10 years and the best shape i've ever been in was when I was swimming. Just make sure that your stroke techniques are correct before you begin to increase the amount that you swim or the intensity at which you swim; bad technique can lead to injury (I have bad tendonitis in my right shoulder because my freestyle strokes were off and I was swimming 10,000 yards a day with bad technique). Take it at your own pace in the beginning and listen to your body: know the difference between pain and a "burn" from exercise (that's what did me in, I didn't listen to my body, I was trying to be strong thinking that it was just my hard workouts that were burning but actually I was being stupid and injuring myself). Swimming can be really great, it's a nice departure from the treadmill.
