You could try making a soup... literally all you need is an onion, a few carrots and a tin of tomatoes for a simple soup - you can see exactly what calories you're putting in... plus without any cream etc that restaurants probably use, you might find you feel ok Smile Most packaged soups make me feel a bit queasy, but you couldn't keep me away from homemade stuff if you tried Tongue out

Grilled banana with chocolate Tongue out Soooo good, and actually not too calorific I don't think... Just slice a banana in half, put a little bit of chocolate in the middle (literally one or two little pieces will do, spread throughout), wrap in tin foil and put in the oven for a few minutes.... and eat Smile

(Then ignore the fact that this was originally created with a whole mars bar inside, and the fact that mounds of whipped cream would complement it Foot in mouth)

I'm similar to you Smile depending whether I'm at work, or college, or at home, will change how many snacks I have, but I generally have the same amount of calories before tea - usually about 600-800ish.

I have more control over what I eat during the day, as I live at home and the evening meal is cooked for me... So I allow a fairly large amount of calories for dinner, and if I end up having salad then I'm compensate with say, a yoghurt and some toast

I don't crave chocolate anymore, but if it's there i WILL eat it... shame on my dad for buying half of cadburys Embarassed 30-something calorie options hot chocolate sachets are a lifesaver at the moment though (exams = stress = sugar!)

This has definitely happened with fatty food though - bacon and fried egg butties used to be a favourite, and now omelettes make me queasy Frown

If you're really obsessing over it, maybe allow yourself a small serving of dried cranberries and skip dessert at dinner? I agree that the trail mix is a bad idea, but I know the feeling...

Or if you live in a house like mine, make a smaller serving (eg, just 12 cupcakes) have a couple yourself, leave the house for the day.... and voila, nothing left Wink
