I'm so glad I'm not the only one confused about this week.  I'm also really glad that I have continued to do each challenge on my own each week, so hopefully this weeks won't be to difficult.

I went golfing yesterday for the first time and I am so sore today!  I am completely aware of every muscle in my back today.

so is it ok for me to brag a little?  This whole challenge has been just that for me a challenge.  I have been gaining and losing the same 2 pounds for the last month.  I was starting to get real discouraged and then I remembered that I had taken starting measurements, on April 28 so yesterday morning I did them again and guess what I lost 3/4" off my waist, and entire 1" off my hips and 1/2" off both thighs!!!!!

Ok I'm done bragging good luck to everyone one else (especially team 1) have a great weekend!

Hi everyone, I need some advise.  So I completed week one on Tuesday (yay for me) But somewhere along the route I stepped completely wrong and pulled something in my knee.  Did'nt hurt much when I did so I completed the run.  So come Thursday, (trying to run Sun, Tue & Thur) I figured that sine I started the at the end of the week I would do one more day of week one.  Well I only got about half way thru and my knee was hurting so bad I couldn't finish it.  So my question is do I stop completely until it feels better or do I go real slow and not push it?  I'm just afraid if I have to stop completely I'll lose all my motivation again.

Glad to see everyone doing so great, I complete w1d2 this morning.  I got my 13 year old son to go with me.  That was a great push he jogs faster than me so I really had to push myself to keep up with him, but on the walking part I found myself slowing down for him to catch up.

Well gotta get going schools starts soon and a million things to do to get the kids all ready to go back.

Hi I just wanted to jump in here and let you know that I've been reading along trying to get the motivation to get started on the c25k, and thanks to you guys I finally did it.

Sure it was just day one but hey you got to start somewhere right.  I had started trying to run a couple months ago but I injured my ankle right before I found this program.  Well my ankles been better for a couple of weeks now but I had lost all the drive to get out there.  I keptmaking excuses and this morning there was just no excuses left.  I'm really proud of myself I got through it and didn't feel like I wanted to die afterwards.

So thanks again for being so supportive on this forum!

Yeah its great motivation when he goes so mom are we going to take the extra block today.  Cause even if I was wanting to cut it short and head home there's no way I could after hearing that.  I'm hoping that by having him go with me now I have a better chance of him not being like his older brother who's to interested in video games to do much of anything else.

I so agree with love2hatetreamills you shouldn't feel guilty about taking the time to work out and take care of your self.  As moms we get so wrapped up taking care of everyone else we tend to forget about ourselves.  If we don't stop every now and then to care for us we might not be here to care for all of them.  Try to get your kids involved as much as possible.  I had started jogging in the mornings and my 5 yr old was coming with me but on his bike.  Then I went and strained something in my ankle and haven't been able to go in about 3 weeks.  Well my son must have been really enjoying it, cause he keeps asking when my ankle will be better so we can start doing it again.

Hi, I want to join in too.  I'm 32yrs old 5'5 and mom to two great boys, 13 and 5.  Been on this site for about 2 months now, but started trying to lose the first part of April.  I only started out with an extra 20 to 25 pounds but I tend to carry all of it in my stomach.  I swore if one more random person asked me when the baby was due I was going to go postal.  Started off around 151 and I' m down to 136.  Did a little happy dance this morning after pulling out an old pair of capris and realizing that I can actually were them and they look good.

Anyways been reading along and everyone in the forum sounds so great.

Weight Loss Proteine shakes... helps to lose weight? Jul 11 2008

whey protein shakes are great!  I use one that has 90 calories and 16g of protein.  I add a couple handfuls of ice, 1/2cup 2% milk, and 8oz light yogurt and the whey protein and blend.  I use it as a mid-day snack and have been losing easily 1 to 2 lbs a week.
