i'm definately going for a little bit older of a dog, like 2 or so just because it will have to be alone for so long so slightly settled will be good.  but a walk before leaving to work, 9 - 10 hours at work, then walk again when i get home, alone for a little over an hour while i'm at the gym, then more bonding time.  or if no gym that day then a full afternoon evening of play and bonding :-)

 that's pretty much the exact schedule Murph and I have, though he does go to daycare two days a week. but i tend to plan that for when i have evening plans that will keep me out all night, like tonight.

really, he's fine without the daycare, it's just helped with his anxiety a lot!

 

that's a really cool idea -- i've seen a lot of ads for that since moving.  I might suggest that to my dad's GF since her pup gets really anxious being alone for so long (10+ hours on weekdays).

UGH! teletraining!  one of my tasks before i switch departments was to edit the audio of our training sessions.... it was beyond boring.... and tedious as i had to listen for breaths.  ahhhhhhhhh.
