Dating 8 years and still going. We moved in together about a year and a half into dating. I have a 8.5 year old girl who he's raising as his own, and we have a 5 year old son together. At first he pushed the marriage issue, but I have some commitment issues, and now we might or might not ever get married. But, that will be our choice, not anyone else's. |

Hasn't it also been said that 1 out of 4 adults in New York also have genital herpes? Maybe there's some correlation there. 1/4 living with herpes, 1/4 haven't seen a cow. Anyway, I've only ever seen snow one time. So, I've also never been snow skiing. I've also never been to New York. |

Well, just received my call back from my cardiologist. And, I have to say a big big thank you to both of you again. I was informed that the 180's range is my hearts upper max. He does not want me to go above the 150's-160's range. So, while I'm a little down to have to put my couch 2 5k on hold for now, it's better than being dead. My next appointment is in Nov., and he said we could reevaluate it then. So, once again, thanks for the spot on advice. |

Thank you both for the information. It is reassuring. Now, I do have a heart condition, an arrhythmia actually. I did have a stress test done, and I did wonderfully. But, maybe I need to call in to get my cardiologists opinion. I've only had one instance of palpitations during this past month of eating right and exercising. |

I agree with pudpie, wait till you visit with your cardiologist. I have palpitations and I exercise, but I did get clearance from him first. I had an echocardiogram, stress test, and wore the monitor and they never found it. So, hopefully they can find yours, as they can be very difficult to find if they don't occur every day. Good luck! |

I live in South Texas, which is a part-time home for many, many Winter Texans. Just up the road there is a nudist colony/ranch/RV park tailored specifically for Winter Texans. So, no, I don't think I'd be going there. Can you imagine, you retire at 65, and drive from Michigan in your expensive RV just to park it for 4-6 months in a nudist spot? Imagine the children and grand children's surprise if they ever found out what Grandma and Grandpa actually do in South Texas. Also, if you drive down the beach far enough (must have a 4X4 vehicle for this), there is a section of beach used by nudists. But, I've heard mostly it's for homosexual males.
Hmm, so those are my choices. Neither one are my cup of tea. |

I would say between 2500-3000 a day, but this was mostly the Dr. Pepper. I've never really been into eating candies and cakes, and I'm not really fond of chocolate. Now, Dr. Pepper and shoes are my rewards, 8 oz = 100 delicious calories. |

| Weight Loss | why do you want to lose weight? | Jun 20 2008 21:54 (UTC) |

Well, in all honesty..... Three weeks ago, me and mom made a deal that if I dropped from 185 to 135 within a year and maintained for six months, she's buy me new boobs. Sounds horrible, I know, but I've ALWAYS wanted implants. I'm 28, 5'5", and I've wanted them for 10 years!! Now, at my weight I am, I have boobs now. But, when the weight comes off, I'll be back to a normal B cup. Let's just hope that after I get the boobs, I'll still keep the weight off! |

We had a better discussion when I got home from work. I've never liked having the stuff in the house. This morning he comes home and says, "Can he have eggs and toast"? A little sarcastic, maybe, but I can handle the sarcasm if it means he's feeding himself and our son healthier. My husband has high blood pressure, so he knows he needs to make some changes. He cut excess salt out about six months ago, so he's trying. Of course, as I'm walking out the door, I hear him say, "Do you want jelly and butter on your toast?" But, like I said, it's an improvement. |
